DAD filming location question

Hi, I'm in Asia right now, and I figured I'd swing by some 007 filming locations. I'm going to be leaving China pretty soon, but Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia are all on the list. I was specificaly wondering where the hotel is in DAD that PB goes to when still grungy, I believe it was in the Hong Kong harbor. Thanks

It was made up at Pinewood. They didnt film in Hong Kong. When Bond gets out of the water, Hong Kong Island is seen in the background, so where ever the hotel would be, it would be on Kowloon, on the banks of HK harbour. That said, the hotel Bond stayed at in TMWTGG is called the Penisula and is still at HK today. Worth a look at, however look as if your a guest, not a tourist when you take photographs of it.

Bond stays at the Mandarin Hotel in the book Zero Minus Ten.

To quote the Internet Movie Database:
