I'd still love to see David Suchet get a shot. He can't be Le Chiffre (anymore)...but he ought to be Le Chiffre's boss B-)

"My acting range? Left eyebrow raised, right eyebrow raised..."
Jason Statham, who I actually like in a good action or crime film has been on a real losing streak lately with his choice of films. Rather than as a villain in a Bond film, I think he would be better cast as an ally of Craig/Bond. Maybe as a Policeman, gangster with a patriotic streak who helps out Bond, miltary man, or old SBS buddy of Bond's. As a major villain, I just don't see him as cerebral enough to be more than a physical challenge for Bond with one exception...he would make a great modern day Red Grant type. What a hand to hand fight that could be.

I think they should use Bond's SBS background in the next films, and Jason Stratham would be the perfect SBS trooper. He is the right type and he was an olympic level diver so he could do the swimming scenes himself.
