I've managed to get hold of a Prop Jacket that Sebastian Foucan wore in the more than fantastic Building Site chase in Casino Royale!
Its still got the Wardrobe Tag on it and the scene number etc written inside.
There are no labels of any kind inside which leads me to believe that they were specially made for the film.
Its got to be one of my most Major pieces! The amount of screen time this gets is simply amazing!!
I've posted a pic here, but you can see it on my website as well, with a few other new pieces.

Quite a coup!
No bullet hole though???;)
Bond’s Beretta
The Handguns of Ian Fleming's James Bond
Thanks, yes it was an amazing find.
lol, no theres no bullet hole, on the Eon return slip I got with this it shows there were several Jackets used for the sequence, This one is used in and around the Crane scene.
Does anyone know if the FCUK ones were produced before or after the Film, this one has No labels and has no signs of any being cut out etc. therefore I thought they were specially made.
can u show a pic of the documents from Eon which validate the jacket?...would love to see what they look like....
Cheers
That may not be a good idea. It may open a door for scammers to provide fake COAs when selling not so real props on Ebay etc.
Good point...it's a scary World out there for collectors.
All I'd say is that good scammers know what these things look like anyway, and it's almost impossible to detect the scammed documentation from the real deal (ie the letter heading, shape etc will be standard, and only the details of the shot/props/actors will be truely "made up" to authenticate the piece).
Indeed, I once saw a piece of documentation that was very convincing (even had Bab's auto on it) but was totally made up. IT HELPS COLLECTORS TO KNOW WHAT GENUINE DOCS LOOK LIKE.
Caveat Venditor..B-)
Only way to be sure is to buy from people you know you can trust...this game is all about contacts....a piece of paper buys an illusion of authenticity.
As regards ebay, well....does anyone know which came first....
Ebay.com or...
the phrase caveat emptor 8-)
There is no way I would ever show anyone any Paperwork I get with Any of my Pieces, because although they are no guarantee for anything they are still one of the things which can give that extra edge on Authenticity.
I have a few pieces with relevant paperwork from EON and although the heading etc stays the same they all look different in their own way.
Major pieces like this need to be purchased from very good contacts or Registered Dealers if you dont want to get ripped off, I would never have paid this kind of money on ebay. I was even contemplating listing it on here at all, but did so as most of the people on here seem genuinely interested in rarities from the Bond films, and this is one :-)
I'm not saying I've never bought props from Ebay because I have, but most were checked out beforehand and the money I paid was not gonna bankrupt me if they turned out fake!
So all be contented with seeing a real piece and the alarm bells ring with me when people want to see paperwork as it may be "interesting" to them ;-)
I understand why Paul was interested to see the accompanying paperwork, I know of at least two of these jackets that have been floating around in the UK with bogus paperwork from Eon etc. And as we operate in the same collecting circles I'm sure that he has been offered one as well. It would have been interesting to see how these differed. Bondprop collectors beware
ouch
firstly, sorry Chris if I set of alarm bells in your head....I hope you find the off switch soon...
but trust that my interest was genuine, and as I explained above, I personally see the merit in small groups of people (like us..) clubbing together to share important info with EACH OTHER to help avoid the trap set by those who would sell "off the shelf" as "off the set"...
as regards my "interest", many here will know that I have been collecting "bond" for 30yrs, and have a collection that numbers in the hundreds of items, ranging from actual props to kids toys.... I have an interest...
Finally, thx ASP, appreciate the support, and echo your concerns about these jackets...
this is one..
Hope this helps clear things up...
Paul
However, that is a hideous jacket. )
haha, yes I found the off switch :-))
I do see your point and I also think its important to help another in stamping out Fakes... props, Autographs or otherwise. I've been stung a few times with fake Autographs myself. :-(
Anyway just wanted to say I didn't want it to come over as bad as it obviously did. sorry.
now abt those docs...B-)
