Live and Let Die is definitely my favorite Moore film. I love the girl, the gadgets, the location, the Sherriff, and the fun of it all. It isn't quite quintessential Moore, but I love the film for all its worth. Plus, Moore is actually fit in this movie (as opposed to his later films).
I have two favourites, and I like them for exactly the opposite reasons - go figure.
TSWLM - cinema Bond at its best. Total OTT entertainment, and the movie where RM first defined his protrayal of Bond. Possibly the best PTS in the series.
FYEO - Fleming Bond. The screenplay brilliantly incorporates two Fleming short stories (FYEO and Risico) almost intact into the overall plot. I think Fleming would have been happy to have writen this one as a full novel.
Who says you can't like cinema Bond and Fleming Bond at the same time.
