Any Aston. I love them. They reduce me to a slobbering mess.
Specifically, the DBS V12 at the moment. But I expect that will all change when they bring out the next one. I remember thinking the DB5 was the most beautiful car in the world. Then the DB7. Then the DB9. Then the Vanquish. Now, the DBS. And I'm a sad enough fangirl that I would compare them all as well.
Having said that, if anyone's offering to give me one, I'll take any Aston whatsoever. Even the V8 Vantage.
I love all of the Aston Martins without exception, but from a purely aesthetic point of view the Bentley 4 1/2 litre Sports Tourer which features (very briefly) in FRWL gets my vote. Just love the look of that marque & it's in British Racing Green.
Bliss.
The classic Aston Martin DB5 by a mile. It’s the most recognised Bond car.
I’ve been a fan of this vehicle for ages, but I had the pleasure of seeing one in the flesh during our local QoS premiere. Internet images do not do this car justice; it is simply a work of art.
The newer Bond vehicles are not bad, but for me they simply do not come near retro brilliance such as this.
Astins no doubt about it. If I hit the lottery a AM Vanquish is my first stop.

My dream car? The DBS by a very long way. (Not just Bond either). - In an ideal world I would have one in the same shade of Royal Metalic Blue my Grandad's DB5 was.
Understandably, for me the DB5 is immediately in second place, as it was his car.
The Lotus is nice, but I'd have to go with the BMW from TWINE next.
The best classic vintage car? - Goldfinger's Rolls Royce. I say that as it carries the air of vintage Bond - both from the Films and Mr Flemings's books.
I'm just waiting for someone to mention the Citroen from either FYEO or AVTAK! )
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
Near the beginning of From Russia with Love, Connery answers a call from Moneypenny on his car phone. I believe this car is a Bentley. It is only on screen for a moment but it is an image that lasts. Connery/Bond drives something similar to Shrubsland in Never Say Never Again.
I think it is another Bentley. The car is absolutely gorgeous. These two cars are the most graceful, clean, dynamic looking cars I've seen.Definitely my favorites and in my opinion, the most beautiful.

1) Vanquish DAD
2) DBS CR/QOS
3) Vantage (Hard-Top) TLD
4) DB5 Loads of appearances
Very different, and probably rarer is the Toyota 2000 GT in YOLT. Like a cross between a Ferrari Daytona and an E-Type Jaguar. Completely over-looked as a Bond car.

agree on the Astons, though my order (if there was an order there) would be different...
DB5 gotta come 1st!...
But I totally agree with the 2000GT...this was the most beautiful car never put into production (only the rather ugly hard top was produced).
There's just something about the DBS that is so amazing that it's my number one now and possibly forever. I like to think of it as the modern day DB5. The only thing I think the DBS is missing is power, it definitely needs more power, like say 600 hp.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

Aston's soon to be produced Vantage V12 should take care of that. It will be the most powerful Aston martin ever produced (for the road). It looks gorgeous in the pictures. My money is on it being Bond's company car for Bond 23

Although I know that Bond did not drive it himself, I am a huge fan of the Ford Thunderbird driven by Jinx. I am a bit biased because I happen to own one, (2003, black) but it is a very nice, smooth and sporty car.
The Ford Thunderbird has a long history in Bond films. It was driven by Felix in Goldfinger, Largo in Thunderball, Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd in Diamonds are Forever, and finally Jinx in DAD. The current model embodies all of the qualites of a Bond car, and I would like it to make an appearence in future films.

The prototype was 600hp but the real production car is using the same DBS 6.0 Liter 510hp engine. The only thing that's going for it over the DBS is it's smaller and lighter.

Yeah, I've looked it up and it gets 510BHP - so I stand corrected. Shame though, 600BHP sounds a lot more like it. The top speed should be 190mph, so not much in it between DB9 or DBS. The last Vanquish S made 205mph, and accelerated faster than the new DBS. Why the hell didn't they face-lift that and keep it going?

The DBS of CR and QOS do it for me totally. I am in lust with that damn car.
Although in the real world I am looking at a Titanium Sliver DB9 (to squeeze mates in the back of) with the Chancellor Red leather and walnut interior.
Can everyone here cross their fingers and squeeze their thumbs (a German thing) to wish me luck in my Aston aspirations... PLEASE?

Hey - good luck with the DB9 - it looks fantastic. I don't know how small your mates are... but if I couldn't convince my wife that my DB7 had enough room for a 1 year old and a changing bag...

Thanks for that tsa, yeah I know it'll be a squeeze we are all around the 6' mark but I think I have to go for the 2+2 seating even though the back seat is a bit of a joke. With it being an Aston at least the girls will squeeze in for a drive once in a while. Although all this is of course waiting on me actually putting an order in. Some way off yet. -{
Further to the Bond car theme, I know this is lame (especially by A-M comparisons) but I have always liked the look of the 4x4 Lada Niva Cossacks they seemed to give the bad guys during Pierce's tenure. {:)

For me when I get around to it some years from now hopefully a V8 Vantage in Meteorite Gray. I'll wait for the DBS to drop dramatically in price, like the Vanquish did, to a near affordable price. So I would say under a hundred grand and find one in the CR color and I think I'll be set for life.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

{[] to you on the Toyota!
when I have been to Japan, I have tried to find the original one which is said to be in the "Kaikan" hall referring to a James Bond book.
I have been asking various people about this particular hall in Japan and have been told that "Kaikan" means "big hall" in japanese.
Several calls to Toyota have not been successful either. Has anyone an idea, where the remaining car is located?
