Hi, not really posted much on here, but hopefully that will change :)
Anyway here's my Daniel Craig figure that Iv just put together, hope you like it and hope to start posting a lot more, especially in the big build up to the next film. -{

    nice figure...a good likeness;

    hope you don't mind but it's got the wrong H&K..

    reason i'm so confident is the fascinating debate between sniper and cynjin smythe here;

    http://www.ajb007.co.uk/index.php?topic=25869&cpage=2
    and
    http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006250216,00.html

    so it's a HK UMP-9 with suppressor...

    this is the closest i could find...

    hope this helps...

    The link you gave is of an MP5SD with full stock, not a UMP. If you want an accurate UMP, you need the 21st Century UMP, and then you have to add a silencer and a curved MP5 magazine to have it accurate.

    I like the figure a lot. Tin's head looks good, and that is the Toy Soldier Who's Neil (Heat) suit, right?

    Well spotted it is the(Heat)suit,
    head was from eBay, I super glued it to a dragon body and guns from good old action man.
    Ill keep an eye out for the correct weapons, glad you like him, cheers

    To clarify: These aren't mine to sell. I got in on a private commission from a sculptor. I believe they're now sold out, but I can find out for you guys and let you know.

    Those heads are incredible - the detail and likeness blows me away. It always amazes me on these sorts of sites how talented people can be.

    The person who did that sculpt ought to have a job at Sideshow. My congratulations; no 'Mister Hornet Victim' here {[]

    When I think of how to best convey DC's Bond persona, physicality definitely is an important factor. An extreme example is Rocky Balboa; would one connect more with a Rocky figure that's fully clothed, or dressed in boxing gear? Since a big part of DC's Bond debut build-up (that could be a pun if you want to take it) is his muscularity. Also, as ideally chisled 12-inch bodies typically are (I wouldn't mind have such a body!), I find that they're often too slight to even properly and realistically fill out their little action figure outfits.

    Not that I plan to make one anytime soon, but for me these are interesting "what if" solutions to ponder were I to make a figure that (1) depicts a specific and key iconic situation for a character, like Bond in a spacesuit, (2) is crafted/presented for #1, i.e., how do you make that spacesuit.

    For a DC figure with exposed limbs, hypothetically, I've always thought that a severe limitation of 12-inch figures are visible joints, and even with advances with Hot Toys' muscle figures (they produce Rocky and Rambo figures), there's still the problem of visible joints at the neck, wrists and ankles.

    What do others think of a DC figure in swim trunks, or if clothed, in a tight fitting shirt (and pants) with bare arms, like when he arrived in the Bahamas?

    Great looking action figures! Although Connery looks like Connery, Craig's is only a passing resemblance IMO.

    I see they went out of the way to soften his features considerably, tuck his ears somewhat, etc...

    I think that's actually pretty good---better than Sideshow's Dalton, that's for sure---and quite far from the Mister Hornet Victim model rumoured last year :o

    Meh...you may be right, H.B. but perhaps I'm looking at it from an artist's P.O.V. His hair mold is killing me though. :s

    The pic that Nightshooter posted looks alot more accurate to me. That one is dramatically more spot-on than the latter.

    Agreed. The one I posted is much closer. Also, the Connery is simply a (fantastic!) repaint of the Sideshow sculpt. I wish I had someone repaint mine like that.

    that Longbow Studios sculpt (grey pic) is spot-on, the other one is only "approximately" Craig, in the pic where he's standing next to Connery, it doesn't look anything like Daniel, but it's still good work, better than the standard one.

    WHERE can we get these custom DC heads? Either one is passable for a good custom Bond figure.

    Hi Ed,

    A few posters at the Sideshow Collectors forum have offered unpainted castings of various Craig headsculpts, and some offers painting services http://www.sideshowcollectors.com/

    The forum subsection where these typically are showcased is "General Movie/TV Collectibles."

    Here's a thread (again, one of a few offerings) for a head offered by Longbow Studios:
