I'll take at least one of each. I wouldn't require a "working" magnetic strip, but as close to real in appearance would be nice. Still, for the price, I wont be too picky.
Sorry for the delay all. I was out of town for a wedding. I was the best man so I have been dealing with wedding stuff since I posted. I am back in town as of yesterday and will get started straight away.
I'll put together mock ups for the front and back. I do wonder if I should put a brown line in for the magnetic strip or if there will be an actual mag strip on the cards. They usually already have them on the blanks.
Hello all, here is a status report I got all of the high res and vectored images from Visa themselves as well as their guide to printing Visa Card Standards. I will will have the proof and essentially the card ready for print either later today or tomorrow.
I have a couple of questions for whomever is the point man on the project. Question #1: Will the card print company be putting on the letters and numbers? I assume they will, but I wasn't sure if I needed that information in a separate file or how that was being handled.
Question #2: How do we want the back side. I can replicate some actual bank info, which I think falls into the realm of "sketchy" or we should come up with some spurious 007 style bank info that essentially is gibberish.
We should decide what would be appropriate and go from there. I leave it to you.
Not sure if i'm the point man or not ... LOL ; but i did start the thread and contact the one company i mentioned (who can do the raised #s / name).
I honestly don't know if the company would need the numbers / letters in a seperate file ; they didn't mention anything like that to me when i stated i'd be sending them a photo / mock-up of what i wanted. I'd say proceed with the mock-up with the #s and letters already on the image.
As for the cardback - i think " some spurious 007 style bank info" will be much better ; though i suppose you could "spoof" the actual bank info with some minor (but glaring) changes.
Many thanks for your hard work - wonderful to have someone so talented to help with such a project as this !
Billy can you take a head count and contact them about making the cards - It would be ideal if they could do a prototype first then im sure no one would mind sending you the money first...
Clarky that looks dead on now! as for teh back I would just make something up does have to have any detaisl as most of us wont be displaying teh back, anyone dissagree?

I guess the question I am asking is do we just want the card to have the signature box or should I put some spurious bank information on it? For example, should it say Bank of England or Goldeneye Bank of Jamaica? Maybe ajb007 virtual money charter? Will there be a mag strip or will that have to be a graphic element? Those are the things that I am curious about. Of course all made to a convenient pocket size.
I like the idea of the ajb007 one. Seeing as this is where your idea began. If they cant do a magnetic strip maybe a black strip which resembles the magnetic one

Now Im hoping we havent heard from Clarky because he has been too busy doing the mock up card for us?
The black AMEX should not be too hard to replicate. I heard that the one in the movie never had his name on the card for some reason.
And I dont think Indy will be too bothered that we got the cards elsewhere...

Here is the basic front proof. The back side is up to the group as far as info. The image should be clickable for a larger view.

What I haven't gotten are opinions about the back, that I previously requested. I can whip something up but I'd rather people suggested something.
Here is some images of standard visa backs: http://www.visaeurope.com/merchant/handlingvisapayments/facetoface/recognisingvalidcards/recognisingelectroncards.jsp
BILLY where are you? If you dont want to do this can you give one of us the name of the site you were using?
