A few weeks ago someway asking about the cardigan which DC wore in CR and if anyone knew where to buy one.

For UK contributors Jaeger have a very similar navy blue shawl neck cardigan. The bad news is it is £150.

Zara have a similiar, but chunkier cardigan, but only in black, brown and grey. The good news it this one is only £40.

Found this one at the mall today at GAP (also available on their web site) and with the sale only $42! Had to nab one and it is nice and fitted.

Looks good Mantis. I treated myself to the black one from Zara in the christmas sales. Similiar cut, but the shawl neck is slightly longer. Really wish they had it in navy blue.

I bought a nice one from Banana Republic. Black, very thick Merino wool - on sale for $74.99! Still available in-store and on their site.

He wears it on the hotel balcony talking to Mathis the morning after he has killed Obano and at the end on the boat while speaking to M on the mobile phone. The correct colour is navy blue.

Are you certain about the color? in this photo he has his back to the sun and it appears to be black.

That picture seems black also. The killer is that the other fellow has on something blue – and it appears black by comparison for sure. Hmm...must know for sure! Need something to get while waiting for the bookshop to get in "Bond on Set".

From the movie I had assumed it was navy blue. This was based more on what he wore with it particuliarly on the hotel balcony scene. Bond wears a blue roundneck t shirt and grey patterned trousers with the cardigan so it just seemed more natural that it would be navy blue.

BR still has the merino cardigan available in L-XL. I think this one is more screen accurate than what GAP and JCrew are offering if anyone is interested:

Just picked up the BR cardigan (in black) yesterday from BR at the Burlington mall, MA. $59.99. Got to love MA, no sales tax. So far, this one seems to be closer than all the others I've looked at.

Color please? Does anyone know the original manufacturer? Some photos it looks navy blue while on others it is a flat black. Sitting on a fence on which way to buy. Confused.

I picked this one up at the GAP over the weekend. Although it was not on sale I did get 25% off for opening a GAP account so my price was around $45. Very pleased with it. I agree that it is a great low cost substitute for what was used in the movie. By the way, I haven't seen it in this thread but wasn't the original CR cardigan made by John Smedley in London?

It is sold out now, but this appears to be a close fit as the collar is long and seems to have the bulk. It is sold out now but the may be able to find them in a store for you. Good Luck

Got it for $33 at a GAP store. They should be marked down to make way for late spring/early summer stuff.

The correct color is NAVY, almost Midnight Blue....this can plainly be seen in some making of pics but also on BluRay.
