Next FYEO

Due to title rumours around Risico and the filming locations and the fact that this is supposed to be a darker bond I have strong feelings this will be another FYEO, anyone else?

This will work better if you tell us what you ment by "a new FYEO".

It will certainly be a Bond film, in the same way that FYEO was, and feature Daniel Craig, yes.

"Risico" has been a rumored title for years, so I don't bother with it; the locations are not the same (nitpicky, yes, but the Swiss Alps aren't the same as the Italian Alps); and I haven't heard that Bond 22 will be "darker". . .I've heard that it will be an equally dark follow-up to an already dark film. If it is in fact a direct sequel to CR, then Bond 22 will be a fairly unique movie in its own right. What's more, the movie isn't being made as an "antidote" to an over-the-top, science-fiction inspired comic book extravaganza. So, no, I don't think the new film will be like FYEO at all.

Hardyboy has some good points. The swiss/Italian alps thing is nitpickey, yes.
But his other points are good. CR was the new FYEO (or OHMSS, or LTK), Bond 22 is the sequel to the last "purge" -film. What hopefully will be special about Bond 22 is just that: it will follow the style of a "purge" film. OHMSS was followed by the lighter DAF, FYEO was followed by the much more Moore-style OP and LTK was again followed by the light GE.

I'm still holding out hope for a bit of climbing in #22...which would be a common thread with FYEO...but that would probably be about it...
