    Your Mad !

    I would of gave Lazenby;
    * On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    * You Only Live Twice

    Connery just wouldn't of had the same effect as Lazenby had. I couldn't imagine him getting married, But the scotish quil I might ;)

    This is a really enjoyable thought experiment. If I could I would keep everything the same up to...

    1 Connery stops after TB

    2 Lazenby takes over in a very faithfull versions of Fleming stories in correct sequence until Dalton takes over in TSWLM & continues until...

    3.Brosnan takes over in TND (in my revisionist history there is no six year gap between LTK & Goldeneye) & Brosnan has much better material to work with and get his teeth into. e.g. DAD continues the trajectory of the first half.

    4. Hugh Jackman takes over as Bond in CR.
    QOS is not a continuation, but a new mission with an unconnected PTS (ala Goldfinger) but in the same style as CR (good dialouge, evident character development and superb bone-crunching action) Jackman continues in Bond 23 which is Colonel Sun. I note that despite my having real misgivings I have come to really value Craig as a fine Bond, but still feel that Jackman could have done equally well in terms of intensity, ruthlessness & Physcality and delivered that extra 'something' in terms of style & sphistication.

    5. New Bond for No: 24 (Jackman might be getting a bit too old for it by then)
