Angels, who have done costume work on several previous bond movies have just launched a new website: http://www.aswornin.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=10&category_id=26&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=30
Right now there is only one bond costume on there but I was led to beleive there would be more.
enjoy!

The costumes are only hired from Angels. With Bapty, Eon actually paid for them to be bought in. Bapty were just the armourers and the middlemen buying the firearms in on Eons behalf, but as they have the licence to handle and store these items, retained them.
"While we were teting the website we were on a test server and were not able to upload all our costumes as it would crash the system, now we are live I am starting to upload more costumes so within the next 2 weeks there will be another 100/150 costumes added to the site including the bond outfits."
I would have said that was true for, say, a standard suit of armor or a WWII uniform, not something that was made to spec. Unless it was understood Bermans & Nathans could rent the costumes to other productions, though I've can't think I've ever seen something from a Bond film show-up someplace else. And I'm torn as to whether I think EON would permit it; on the one hand, I think they'd want to maintain some exclusivity, on the other other, I can imagine them thinking, "Gee, we could save some omeny if we don't retain these."
Which, of course, Bapty saw differently last Winter.
Actually seems a bit backwards; why let loose of a custom-designed wardrobe, yet maintaim ownership on a stock firearm?
Apparently they tried to sell the 'original costume worn by Adam Ant in the Prince Charming video' recently. Which was quite a trick as the actual original is hanging in the V&A museum!
