ha ha,just watched that show half an hour ago.ringo said the producers thought it too modern and anyway it took him seven years to write so he missed the deadline.
still id rather have ringo singing the theme than some obscure finnish rock star that the daily star invented a story about.
geez,give me a break.
I'm not sure if I'd go with this Leona person who's rumoured to be the current favourite - Amy Winehouse (despite her problems) would be an excellent choice in my opinion.
Although his best years are behind him, I'd also like to see George Michael record a Bond theme. He is still an amazing singer, just that he hasn't found a decent song for a few years.
Michael Buble would be a decent choice too no doubt.
I just came across a pink song called coz i can which has some bond type lyrics "I'll cash my cheques and place my chips, hope to god i win" "but even if i do i know i'm f***ed cos i live a life of sin" and some other bits and bobs she might be good
Alison Moyet - a strong deep female voice that could lend itself very well to a powerful bond ballard ...
I've been championing Alison Moyet for as long as I can remember. I think she would be terrific.

Coldplay. I think their sound would suit Craig's Bond just fine.

I wouldn't mind another male singer---and an actual band would be cool. My vote is for Velvet Revolver B-)

"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
I recently saw Slash get interviewed on the Late Show with David Letterman. I have one word for you; cool. B-)
My ideal artist would be one of the following: Alanis Morissette (my favourite solo artist and my favourite active artist), Red Hot Chili Peppers (they could produce a really rockin' song ) and Sting (whom IMO would be absolutely perfect for a Bond song.)
"He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back—that’s an earthquake. and then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman
Wouldn't mind Shirley Manson back. TWINE pretty much sucked but she's worked with Arnold since then and I think she has a much better Bond song in her. Maybe channel some of that first Garbage album vibe...
Anyone seeing Leona Lewis recently and hearing her new album must surely agree that she is rapidly becoming a diva of global proportions, worthy of Bond. By signing her to do Bond 22, the record company will have a ready-made hit in the USA and this could springboard her American career.
Just a thought, but I think she ticks all the boxes!
Always thought Sting should do a Bond song and I stand by that.. he's my favourite singer and he's got the perfect style for a Bond song IMO. If not him, Maroon 5. Stylish, modern and widely successful. While we're at it, please also have Adam Levine (the Maroon 5 lead vocalist) replace Daniel Craig as Bond since he looked perfect in a tuxedo in "Makes me wonder" )
I wouldn't mind Coldplay either, even though they don't have the Bond sound much, but I agree with the poster above who said they fit Daniel Craig.
And obviously Robbie Williams too..
"Are we on coms?" (if you don't know where this is from... you've missed some really good stuff! )

) I thought the same thing when I saw the video. I love Adam! :v Maroon 5 would be a great choice for the theme song, and it could actually make the top 10 that way. Sting is a good idea too.

Monique!!! {[] Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who is so into Adam in a tuxedo..loved him! :v I am also very much into Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights anyone?) without a tuxedo actually, but that's another story ) )
So, glad we agree! Maroon 5 or Sting it is!

Or Sting, Duran Duran, Iron Maiden, Lemon Demon, Lubricated Goat, Rove McManus, James Blunt(Sounds a bit like James Bond, so...), Thin Lizzy(Bring Phil back from the dead), Shannon Noll, Daniel Craig, GUY SEBASTIAN!

Came across this video on YouTube which pertains to the subject:
According to ITN, Amy Winehouse, despite praise from Daniel Craig, may be out due to her run ins with drugs. X-Factor (The British version of American Idol) winner Leona Lewis is now in the frame due to her chart topping debut. However, if Duran Duran had their way, they'd be back for a second! )
"My acting range? Left eyebrow raised, right eyebrow raised..."
YES I THINK TOO THAT MUSE would be very good singer for the next Bond film. I'm a big Muse fan and I can tell you that Muse has got one perfect song for the Bond film.=> Muse's great Bond theme song is called " Butterflies and Hurricanes" and the song is from Muse's album "Absolution". If you choose this song for the coming Bond film, I can quarateen that it's going to be the best Bond song which has ever been made.

She has an awsome voice, and i believe the style of the music she has been involved with (Evanesence) will suit most plots in a Bond movie...
It worked with Garbage....i think Amy Lee would be a winner...

With all due respect, HB - I'd rather have our Fergie sing the theme tune than yours - 'ours' being Sarah Ferguson the (former ?) Duchess Of York )
Just goes to show you what I think of Fergie's singing talents, or lack thereof
You'd love Radio 2
