If you could create your own gadget, or reuse a existing one, what would it be? i would reuse the famous laser watch and for once id like to see Bond use it as a last ditch weapon on a baddie and slice em' up.

I don't know if this qualifies as a gadget as such, but I'd like to see the Aston Martin back in action rather than just being driven around (as it was in CR and the Brosnan movies). No, not the Van(qu)ish, the DB5.

I agree with Barbel. I would love to see the Aston Martin DB5 back in action; particularly its ejector seat. Other than that, I wouldn't mind seeing the X-ray glasses make a comeback. B-)

The ejector seat is definitely due for another dispatching.

Maybe on Craig's new girlfriend after she annoys him B-)

I would love to see the briefcase from FRWL reused, albeit updated a little.

I would love to see the briefcase from FRWL reused, albeit updated a little.

I second this, it would fit into the 'real' world feel we have now too.

Yeah, a Q Department suitcase would make for a excellent portable armoury (concealed combat knifes, grenades, spare PPK, micro-SMG, and micro-LAW), communications hub (satellite phone and modem linked to MI6 computer), infirmy (first aid kit, injections, and of course a defibrillator), sensor bank (bugging chips, IR and X-ray scanners), and black-box recorder (tracking beacon, life-signs relay, and mission control updating).

The ejector seat was kinda used again (albeit in a homage kind of way) in the Vanquish in DAD. Bond used it to flip his car over. Pretty clever IMO. But it would be fun to see it used the traditional way again. I loved seeing the re-emergence of the re-breather. One of the best gadgets that is very practical and could be used on just about every mission.

Ejecter seat to use when going under a bridge or flyover. Strawberry jam.

The rebeather sucks cos it couldn't work in real life, surely.

I like to see a smart 'super' phone.... I mean, everyone has a mobile now... so just a suped up version.

Perhaps with a fingerprint scanner built in... they use a mobile fingerprint scanner in NCIS so it must be doable.

Plus extra's that the phone can do... a laser or x-ray scanner perhaps... however, they will also have to overcome the battery life problem... wouldn't be so cool if he was cutting himself out of some situation, and then the bloody phone dies :))

    Already been done in TND....

I'm not that bothered about too much gadgetry to be honest...the briefcase from FRWL would be nice though...

Like this idea a lot...if we must have self referential homage in 23 (and I fear that we must...)
This would be a good way to do it.

Would love to see Little Nellie make a re-appearance - should have been in DAD, but somehow got overlooked.
