Hello everyone!

Just heard some interesting news from my cousin who works at a printers. He just told me he's seen a new James Bond magazine that is ready to be shipped out to Europe. He said it looked great and had a solid blue cover with Daniel Craig on the front but didn't tell me the name.

I have searched across lots of Bond sites but can only find the fan club magazine which doesn't fit the description at all. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

It could be a new collectors magazine - I'm sure there is a new one due for trading cards, made by Fabrini called 007 Spy Cards.

    I have some developments...

I got in touch with my cousin and he's working for a printer in Germany, but this magazine was in English. He said that the company do a lot for international productions.

I also looked up the Spy Cards website to check and send my cousin the link. He said its not it. He said that this magazine had more pages and it had a shot of Craig on the crane in the Bahamas. It can't be that... The first shipment just went out so he can't get me more details. Interesting that there's no news surrounding this release yet.

Did you look up Spy Cards or Spy Files ?

I'm almost certain this is 007 Spy Cards - you get a free gift with each issue, certainly the first two anyway - something like a pen with issue 1 and a briefcase (for storing the cards) with issue 2.

I can't find them anywhere except ebay - someone in Torquay is selling them - we need to get fellow MOD Scaramanga1 on the case !! :D

Spy Files and Spy Cards are one in the same. The new Spy Cards website has a preview of the latest magazine available online (subscription to order), which is what I had already located and doesn't match the description of this new mag that I've received.

Any light Mr. Scaramanga can shed on this mystery would be appreciated!

Spy Files/i] finished some time ago, so I'm at a loss as how they could be the same ?:)

Any chance of providing a link to the Spy Cards website, please ? Just to make sure it's not the magazine that I've seen, which does match the description you've given so far. Thanks for anything you can give.

Yes, I heard on several other boards I browse that the Spy Cards are a rerun of the Spy Files with updated Brosnan/Craig content!

However, I think I've got something that looks very much like what was described. Its certainly got Daniel on the Crane from Casino Royale!

    This is what I've found:

It looks great and certainly not like anything I've seen before.

Looks like we finally have a worthy successor to 007 magazine. Looks very well presented.

    i've received my copy.
    Great read!
The Casino Royale "on location with the second unit" (stunts) piece and the "reflections and memories" regarding You Only Live Twice were my favs.
I'm not really a collector but the "inside the sideshow studio" article was also fun. Their figures are truly amazing. Love the picture of Mat Falls holding a Connery head. :)
    I'll be buying future issues.
