I don't remember the order of all of the Bond films, but I remember the last seven Bond films that I saw:

17)GE- at the cinemas when I was 12.
18)TND- at the cinemas when I was 14.
19)OHMSS- on DVD when I was 16 (in mid 1999).
20)TWINE- at the cinemas when I was 16.
21)DAD- at the cinemas when I was 19.
    22)CR '54- on VHS when I was 20 (in early 2003).
    23)CR '06- at the cinemas when I was 23.

It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman

Wow, only around 11 years difference in age and such different tastes. You love connery (I very much like him and might even say he's the best). I'm the all-rounder, GF, OHMSS, TSWLM, TLD, GE & CR ;)

I don't remember exactly. The first one I ever saw was AVTAK. The first of the classics I saw was GF, followed shortly by YOLT. This was back in the mid-late 80s when you couldn't just go rent them easily. The first one I ever saw in the theatre was TLD and the last ones I saw in their entirety were TB and TSWLM. OHMSS has been my favorite since just about the first viewing (along with GF and FRWL). I used to be quite fond of TSWLM, but that fondness has waned over the years. I still love MR, but a lot of this has to do with the score.

That's easy, Goldfinger in 1964 when it came out, Dr No and FRWL in 1964/5 on re-runs and the rest as and when they were released, even CR67 and NSNA.

My situation mirrors that of Mark Hazard--I also saw Goldfinger in 1964 in its original release and soon afterwards saw Eon's From Russia With Love/Dr.No double bill which came to the USA in late 1964/early 1965.This was soon followed by Thunderball in 1965--and from that point onward, I've seen all of the Bonds in the order in which they first appeared in theatres.

And yes-I've seen the 1967 Casino Royale,too--plus Operation Kid Brother and Never Say Never Again.

I grew up in the 80's and 90's but somehow my first Bond film was Dr. No on tv at quite a young age (5 maybe?) followed by FYEO and GF. I saw all the rest fairly randomly after that. I would have loved to have seen that double bill, they showed those two back to back? Must have been fantastic

I saw DAF on the big screen, in its initial release, at the age of 9. Been going to the cinema to see them ever since... B-)

The earlier Connerys I all saw on ABC-TV on Sunday nights, starting at around age 6 or 7, I think...Oddjob's hat cutting off the head of the statue was a hot topic in my grade school ;%

Saw GE when I was 6 (after playing the videogame) and I caught NSNA and AVTAK on TV shortly after.

Later that year, TND came out in theaters and I went to see that. Since then I had rented the Bond movies until I got to a few I hadn't seen, one of them being LTK, and I saw it on TV... and well you all know the rest... ;)

Still, I've been seeing them in the theatre since TND! :D

    Sadly, yes I can,

    You Only Live Twice
    On Her Majestys Secret Service
    Thunderball

I didnt actually see these movies all the way through, as they finished past my bed time (ahh bless)I think I possibly saw them during their TV premiers when I was about 7 or 8.

But I then saw YOLT again when I was about 10 and I lose it from then on.

ITV used to show a Bond film every Christmas Day for years and I think I saw them all consecutively from Goldfinger onwards.

Ive seen every movie from Moonraker in the cinema during its initial release. The only one I havent seen properly is Casino Royale (1967) basically because its rubbish and i get bored everytime I watch it.

I remember seeing AVTAK on tv. Soon after LALD, TMWTGG and GF were on television also. A few years after that I caught LTK and TLD on either VHS or TV. I've seen all four Brosnan movies in order in the movie theater and have started to watch my ultimate edition DVDS in order of theatrical release. Next up, DAF.

Very similar to Mark Hazard and Willie Garvin above (although I never saw CR67 at the cinema).

    1. TSWLM in the cinema when I was 3 or 4.

    Then, in 1985

(On TV in roughly this order):

    2. DN
    3. FRWL
    4. TB
    5. LALD
    6. YOLT
    7. MR
    8. DAF
    9. AVTAK in the cinema

    Then

    10. TMWTGG on TV
    11. FYEO on TV
    12. TLD in the cinema
    13. OP on VHS
    14. LTK in the cinema
    15. OHMSS on TV
    16. GF on TV

    Then

17 - 20. GE, TND, TWINE and DAD in the cinema.

(I have not seen CR) :p

Yes, sorry I was in one of my oblique moods. You seem to be of my generation Chrisno1 ie 35+, as your Bond history matches mine (watching them on telly in the 70s, then big screen from 77 or 79 onwards).

Two Tribes was my first single, btw.

Well, Napoleon, ur right about the age thing! tnx for reminding me lol

(somewhat worryingly now) the first single i bought was I Love You Love Me Love by Gary Glitter. I was only 4 and this was b4 all the child allegation stuff. He was huge in the early 70s.

I dont have 2 Tribes, but I have the double lp Welcome To the Pleasure Dome, its an 80s classic.....wouldnt a Bond theme by Frankie have been terrific?

I remember the first Bond film I ever saw was The World Is Not Enough when I was about 11. My family and I were vacationing in Colorado and I visited this hole-in-the wall video store, and bought the VHS of TWINE.

The second Bond film I saw was YOLT, and thats mainly how I got into the Bond series, and this is also why these have a special place on my list.

    I think its:

    1.) From Russia with love
    2.) Live and let die
    3.) Octopussy
4.) You only live twice (film which really got me into bond)
    5.) A view to a kill
    6.) Goldeneye
    7.) Tomorrow never dies
8.) Dr No (and then i watched them in order from then on up to license to kill as i had the james bond box set)
19.) The World is not enough
20.) Die Another Day (in cinema)
    21.) Casino Royale

It was like 12/13 years ago when i started watching them though. so i might have forgotten the exact order.

I began watching the films in 1998 at the age of eleven after my mother purchased Goldeneye for me due to my interest in the classic N64 game. An old friend who I never see anymore got me into the franchise after he showed me the video game.

My memory of the films I saw from 1999 to 2000 is shady, but here is what I remember.

Octopussy, Diamonds are Forever, Live and Let Die, and a Tomorrow Never Dies that was fresh from the video rental store followed Goldeneye in late '98 or early '99.

In the summer of '99 I rented a handful. Included were I believe a few early Connery films, The Spy Who Loved Me, and The Living Daylights. I remember fast-forwarding through a lot of my first viewing of OHMSS just to see 007's wedding. What an impatient kid I was! :))

I am positive that A View to a Kill and From Russia with Love were among the last ones I saw, mainly because I could not find them for rent or purchase until Christmas of 2000, when I finally completed my VHS collection.

I have seen every film from The World Is Not Enough to the present in theaters. However, I only saw DAD and CR on opening day. Seeing every film on opening day is a tradition I hope to continue until I die.

As an old git I started with GF and have seen them in sequence ever since. Good in one way, seriously depressing in another.

FYEO in the Cinema on it's release, then
GF followed by LALD and TMWTGG, also in the Cinema, when Cinemas used to play classics in the Summer holidays ( what a time !).
from 1982 onwards bought them all on VHS starting with: FRWL followed by Dr No,Thunderball,YOLT,OHMMS ,DAF and the missing Moore ones TSWLM and Moonraker.
From Octopussy onwards all chronologically on their release.

I remember seeing TSWLM in 1977 at the cinema when I was 7.

I then remember seeing FRWL on ITV and protesting to my Mom that Sean Connery was not James Bond. I just didn't understand where Roger Moore was!!

Then I saw the "Back to Back" double features at the cinema, of which I distinctly remember:
    OHMSS
    DAF
    LALD
    YOLT

I remember Dr No one Christmas in about 1983 too.

The "final" movie I saw ie: when I hd seen all the others and just needed one to complete my "collection" was TMWTGG, that was in about 1983. For some reason ITV didn't put it on for years!

Now I watch one a week, just on in the background. sort of like a security blanket you know! LOL!

I first watched Goldeneye 9 years ago out of interest after playing the game and that's what got me hooked. I soon after borrowed an LTK VHS from a friend, but I hated it the first time I saw it (now I love it). But I still wanted to see the films from the beginning, so I rented them in order at the local Video store. I remember absolutely hating FRWL, OHMSS, and FYEO distinctly. Since then my opinions of those had changed significantly. So if I could list them...

    1. Goldeneye (rented)
    2. Licence to Kill (borrowed)
    3. Dr. No (rented)
    4-17. FRWL-AVTAK (rented)
    18. Tomorrow Never Dies (rented)
    19. The Living Daylights (rented)
    20. The World is Not Enough (rented)
    21. Die Another Day (theater)
    22. Casino Royale (theater)
