    Hello everybody,
Just wondering if there are any updates on the status of the shirts?

Is there still time to be added to the list to purchase one?

    Best

I've been casually following this topic for a few months and unfortunately feel like $300 is a little too rich for my blood.

I do think that, while JonTremaine could have put it more diplomatically, he has something of a point. Making as many shirts as possible from the fabric available and selling at whatever price that works out to seems far more logical, since this would obviously have a beneficial effect on the overall price while extending availability to a reasonable extent.

To think that some sort of mystical 'exclusivity' might be marred by making 100 shirts versus 50 and selling them among enthusiasts is more than a little silly, and the idea of locking up or even burning remaining fabric instead of putting it to use (as if this would make owners feel better about wearing their shirts knowing that 50 other enthusiasts on the face of the earth don't have one) strikes me as frankly absurd.

That being said, it is certainly the prerogative of the people fronting the money for this project to do as they please, and I tip my hat to them for the obvious hard work, extensive research, and dedication they've put into the project.

    Any updates?
When can we finalize this - the count?
Info on the shirt measurements for the different standared sizes (S, M, L etc.)?
    Payment methods and precedures?

    Thank you!

I second Texas' inquiries. Any updates?

I have decided to jump on board and purchase a shirt if it is not too late. Too good and rare an opportunity to pass up. Hope this will help you guys out too.

    Thanks gents.

thank you for your comments and for using some common sense Paladin. at least someone else notices the ridiculous nature of those obessessed with this idea of exclusivity. stupidity is a blinding factor for some.

I'm also very interested by that offer...
I haven't followed all the discuss, so what is actually the last price if the shirts are actually disponible ?
I live in Morocco and I've no credit card. I can't not pay on Internet, is it possible to pay somewhere in Paris on incoming months, or to send the payment by the Post ?

    Enjoyed this comment....

Can this be the final word on this topic...PLEASE...

I agree entirely...jon-tre-moan had more than one point...
But he demonstrated the logic of a 5yr old and the persuasive debating methodology of Al Queda..

"if I don't like it, I blow it up..."

I've had a week of beautiful sights (Petra, Jordan, one of the new seven wonders...No Sir Miles, Raven isn't the sixth...) and I guess it's cleared my head..

The simple answer is I can't be R-said to do 100+ shirts....30-40 shirts for 20-30 guys (and girls pretending to be guys, guys pretending to be girls, and "models" pretending to be bond fans) will be enough of a logistical nightmare...

Now if anyone fancies taking this escapade over, all they have to do is pay me the £5000 (that's approx US$10,000 today...) i'm out and they can have the material and make as many shirts as they want...and sell them to whoever they want..

In case I've upset them I may reserve the right to keep 10m myself to make my own shirt(s)..

KMHPaladin - you have right of first refusal, as something tells me Jontremaine will pass...

    Let me know...

    Cheers Paul

Who'da thought that you would have gotten so much abuse for stepping forward and taking this massive financial burden on the off chance that some of us might like to buy a bright shirt.

To me you are a patriarch that should have your own plinth surrounded by gilded..... oh,er ne'ermind. Not to mention a patient fella ;)

    Thx Asp9mm....

sincerely hoping that is the last word....

now in case no one (lest even Jontremanine) takes me up on my humble offer, I have been thinking about payments :o

Does anyone dislike the following (that knocking sound is my knees...)

    1) Cheque (posted to my home address)
    2) Paypal (yawn....yes, whoever said it...it's here...)

Oh and the really bad news: postage isn't included...

Before the torrent of bwahwhoing (DZ, what does this actualy mean?..) it's simply because many of you are based outside the UK, and my carrier pidgeon's tomtom only works iinside the UK... :s )

But I'm led to believe that the cost to the US for 1-2 shirts will be less than $10..

And inside blighty it's around £3...

Simon should be following right on behind this missive with details on how to provide your measurements and addresses. Oh and how many committeds we have thus far....

The ordering process will be on a first come first served basis, so those poor devils who are the beta-test-lab-rats for Simon's website (only kidding Si) will be rewarded .... :))

    Cheers

I am committed for a shirt and are willing to use paypal as well.

    Thanks for the updates Paul.

I am also commited to one shirt, if possible in DCs size, please. I can do payment with PayPal, too.

Ah, one thing: I am strongly against, that certain trolls have the option even to buy it for US$ 400,--. {:)

And the idea of letting someone else do this: If the shirt is not done by you guys, I am off the train.

Are these shirts being shipped to each individual's address in the States, or to one address and then distributed from there?

I am putting the final touches on the measurement form and it should be available REALLY soon.

I have not been able to get confirmation on DC's measurements or if they will be able to do standard sizes. They are not a clothes manufacturerer and all of there work is custom made so this might be tricky for them.

Paul and I are still discussing postage he may just ship all US/Canada orders to me and I will distribute them when they get here, this saves him a lot of hassle and should keep shipping costs down.
