I'm sure after Simon & Paul have got over their mojito headaches that they'll post an update here soon. But to keep people informed, I've seen the shirt and the material is sooo lush it's unreal, absolutey incredible material. The shirt itself is well cut and looks fantastic.

I personally thought that the shirt was awful in the film, but as a one off collectable was easily worth buying. After seeing it in person, my opinion did a U-turn, the design is really nice and would wear well at night or on hot days. We joked about a few of us all going out and wearing them (with me at least 500 metres behind them). Sod that, I'll be wearing mine with the other lot, and be proud of it. Bloody marvellous bit of Bond kit. Naysayers can keep shtum now, this is worth every penny at twice the price offered. After seeing someone elses, you'll regret not jumping on the bandwagon. So there.

ASP, did you guys ever get an answer about standard sizes? If not, would you say the cut of the shirt is going to be fitted since you said you have seen it? I am just worried about spending the money, which is a lot for me, for a shirt that won't fit properly.

    Thank you.

As long as you give accurate measurements on the form, you will be OK. It is fitted, but there is plenty of room for movement as the shirt was designed to see action. If standard sizes were available. I'm sure that it would create far too much confusion from person to person and Country to Country and shirts would be returned from all over the place.

Trust in the tailors, they know what they are doing.

Sounds exciting. Once the first shirt is made will there by pictures so we can examine how it looks?

First things first, Eagle, apols for ignoring your first post. The answer is the same as previous posts; I'm still deciding. But the odds are personal names I fear, as I want to make sure we can chase anyone who breaks ranks.

Now an update. Well as ASP9mm eluded to, the three of us saw the first shirt the other day, and were impressed. It has a nice feel to it (due to the expensive cloth) and is ideal for hot balmy days or evenings.

As you can imagine with the style of "repeat" of the pattern, each shirt will look slightly different, but every attempt will be made to get the right "alignment".

However, we're still looking for the buttons, although our sources are confident that we'll be able to source them very soon.

As the shirt was without buttons I refrained from showing any pics. I just can't face all the questions an unfinished item will surely promote.

I believe we have enough sets of measurements (filled in on Simon's website) to complete the exercise, and I'm toying with the idea of closing the number for at least a while (as discussed previously when someone challenged the exclusivity of the project).

Anyway, we're making (slow) progress and hope this helps quench the thirst.

Out of curiosity, what is the current count of paid orders? I ask this as I may change and decide to order one due to our President sending me some $$ to spend to stimulate our economy!!

    Thanks

Hi guys I have been late in submitting my measurement details but I'm still in for this and my details will be submitted tommorow. I have no problems with paypal as a payment method and I am not fussed if my user ID or my real name is used on the name tag. Cheers.

Measurements sent! A tad late as I'm in Thailand on a mission...
    Too hot for long-sleeves!
Looking forward to what will be a cracking piece of memorabilia, I liked the shirt when I saw it, made me think of Thailand for some reason.
    Cheers!

How is the search for the buttons coming along? I would not be opposed to seeing shirt in its current state.
