I don't really get that one, to be honest. I mean, the bits where he's getting beaten up and looking like he's useless make sense, but there are some odd choices of shot from Layer Cake where he's just sort of doing stuff, not looking all that un-Bondy. Looking through some binoculars, for example. I think there's an idea in there, though. It'd be fun to make a Bond trailer using clips of Roger from that gay boat cruise movie he made a couple of years ago, for example!
It's the record scratching with the hate guns quote, the man on the beach from TSWLM, and the anxiety about the Sienna Miller interlude that crack me up. They had to intersperse it with Bondish cuts.
Making myself clear, I saw Layer Cake a few months before Craig's Bond announcement, and have been all for him from day one. I just think of all the Craig not Bond dribble, this one's well done and funny.
