What order to get Casino Royale gear?

Hi all.
I'm currently auctioning a good deal of goods to acquire the funds to go hog wild on some moderately priced Casino Royale stuff (wardrobe mostly). Just picked up the Bond on Set book, and in essence, I want to get as much CR stuff without having to hunt years afterwards. Here's my to do list:
1. Persol 2244. Don't care much for the other pair.
2. Mantis' Target-wear. Could use new pants and shirts.
3. Gap cardigan. Hey, its winter!
4. ?? Can't swing the Magnoli jacket, though I'd love one. Might look into Replicaters.com.
Suggestions? And no, no Omegas please.

Hey, you can still try the poor man's Omega. Check out Alpha watches at:
www.alpha-watch.com
I've only seen photos of them but they seem to be dead on replicas except they say "alpha" instead of "omega"...I think it would be really hard to tell at a reasonable distance...and they seem quite reasonably priced as well. They even make the "Seamaster" with the black bezel which is rumoured to be the next Bond watch for #22.
Oh, I plan on it. Just ordered replica trunks (can't afford La Perla) and am planning on printing Mantis' articles to take to Target. Tried out the Gap cardigan but after viewing CR again this evening, I don't think its close enough. Plus it sure looks black to me.
I'm hoping to work something out with Magnoli on his CR jacket. But next might be the Alpha watch. I know some think it denigrates the originals, but I'd like a little fun of James Bond without laying out 3K. 50 bucks is about my speed!
Shatterhand67,
you are such an avid supporter for Alpha, mentioning and praising them 3 times in your 5 recent posts.
Perhaps, you can collect our oders for obtaining a forum discount?
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I am afraid, that noone can tell you about the long-term quality, especially waterresistance. If you are lucky, they resist, when you receive them, every additional period is simply gambling.
But Alpha is such a great manufacturer, that they will surely compensate any failure

I think you might do yourself a disservice – I've found that many of the things you mention can be tracked down...I'm planning a little Target expedition, whom I think will have something similar still. Not sure if you mentioned the Jack Purcell OTR shoes, but I'm trying to snag those at the moment too.
It's due to your articles I was encouraged to get this new wardrobe But I'd still be willing to see the unproduced part III, if my wallet can take it LOL

That said, it's a beautiful watch for the price and makes a great alternative for those of us that cannot afford the real thing quite yet. I plan on buying their poor man's 'submariner' as an automatic alternative to my Quartz Casio 'submariner'.
I've already spoken about Alpha watches in the old "Omega and Rolex Budget Alternatives..." thread and included links to watch forums that talk about said watchmaker.
8-) Oh my....

Many thanks – I'll be watching it like a hawk, provided shipping to the US isn't too high. If so, back to online.
I'll try to give you all a review of the Alpha if I decide to order it. Holding out hope of a Magnoli CR jacket just at the moment...
As mentioned in an earlier post I have only seen photos of the Alpha offerings. I do not own any Alpha products so I cannot speak as to their quality. They are billed as "water resistant" so I would think you would probably be safe with a walk in the rain but I probably wouldn't go swimming with them. I just came across them on the internet a few weeks ago and I thought they seemed to be a reasonably priced alternative for those can't afford the Omegas or whose significant others forbid them to shell out the dough for the Omega. For 50 bucks I really don't think you could go wrong...I mean you'd probably pay more for a Timex...Just tryin' to help a brother out...
Bondtoys...if you would like me to contact them to see if they would set up a discount for forum members I would be happy to do so. I know a forum member set something up with Douglas Pell earlier this year for the Bond money clip and I recently took advantage of that at Christmas. Cheers.
I'd very much be interested in this, if you decide to do so. I'll put it on the back burner till we hear something, if this goes forward.
