well if your a classic car fan collector of anything props, tv and film then everything is astonishing. the Bond cars are only a part of it so that gives you an idea of the cars and items it has on display.

If you ever come to scotland Leo or David please let me know and we can meet up in the bar and have an all night Bond party. I have just added some other bits to the section Thats it complete now. Glad you liked it.

I had a few Vodka martin's to drink after we finished taking photos and a group of us sat and relaxed in the bar and discussed the Bond films and cers and props etc.

in the photo its an empty champagne glass just for the bond style photo.. adds to it a bit.

I loved all the bond cars yes the lotus is very cool

its a great buzz knowing your sitting in the exact same seat that Roger Moore sat in all those years ago.

the Zao face mask, I am not sure to be honest I just had a picture taken as it looked so cool. If i can remember right it might have been used in the pre production of die another day for creating zao's look. I will ask colin the next time i speak to him about it for you David.

Colin has been in contact with me since regarding up and coming bond events and functions so I will keep you all posted.

any quaestion regarding my visit please feel free to ask

    thanks

He's done very well to get those bits and bobs: did he get these from the Cars of the Stars Museum? I understand they sold off a few Bond cars recently.
So he's got the original Lotus and George's DBS?

gotta say, Scaramanga this website of yours is the first site to rival David's!...and that's the highest compliment I can make... {[]

this is a must visit venue...can't believe I've never been....been to Cars of the stars and love it...am a huge car fan myself, and am very jealous....particularly of the Lotus...

it's also nice to see a "Six" as well...while it was "bypassed" by the franchise, going straight to the truely dreadful (mechanically) DBS, the DB6 is as beautiful as the DB5, with it's Kamm tail and extra six inches of length (if you've ever sat in the back of either a DB5 or DB6, you'll know what I mean!! :o )but I am biased as I love mine....anyone identify these ladies gracing it's bonnet?..

    Copyofbond_val_munro_aston.jpg

there are a number of other props which look very interesting....gotta go and have a first-hand look!...

We all need to meet up and have a party in the 007 bar. there are great hotels and bed and breakfasts - walking distance from the museum.

I hope we can all one day get a group of us together and meet up here.

Thanks for the comment I am flattered by that. Yes I love David Zaritskys site I am a big fan and always will be. hes a great guy. I had a website planned about a year or 2 ago but it was David's site which inspired me to go for it and make one and I havent looked back, i love being able to share all my collection and pictures with you all.

the photo above is of Caroline munro to the left and I am not 100% sure to the right

i think it might be maud adams. not 100% sure as i said

yes the DB6 is an absolutely georgus car very comfortable and sleek.

I do favour the DB5 its my favorite car in the world. But lazenbys DBS does come close I love that car alot.

Colin the owner of the museum was actualy at one point planning on teaming up with the cars of the stars museum. But he decide to go it alone..
and i am glad he did

I think he bought the original esprit from EON productions i think he said and hes has the OHMSS aston for a few years. I dont think he has anything from The cars of the stars museum .

I have been in the keswick cars of the stars mueum i love it but it dosen't touch this. You will know what I mean when you go ;)

Cool stuff. I must say that the most impressive collection of Bond cars I've ever seen was at the Paris motor show in '96- they had a massive hall with areas of around three or four cars for each Bond movie up to GoldenEye plus props; a pretty amazing display. There were a number of replicas which was a bit annoying because they didn't say which were real and which weren't, but the real things were pretty easy to spot. I don't think there was a significant Bond car missing.

I Know what u mean - easy to spot the replicas from the originals.

I have seen photos of this exhibition which looked outstanding. I agree.

The case with all exhibitions is that the organizers contact museums and local know owners of Bond merchandice and memorabilia. to see if the museum or venue can borrow items from them to display at the museum.

The bo'ness motor museum has been contacted by the organisers behind the Armouries exhibition in london in april regarding display some of Colin's Bond props and cars.

Hope I see you all there in April.. Thanks

and we can get some photos taken for my website

    should be great

Another very cool edition to the museum is

aside from the TND rocket launcher from the stealth boat.. There is also seats from the ship the ones you see in the glass control room where carver and stamper are mostly on the ship and the ones the navigaters and other guys are sitting in when bond walks up and kills them all with a machine gun.

and you are allowed to sit in them which is pretty cool.

I am also working with the museum and Brian J. Smith from Bond & Beyond .com to see about getting a fan club set up and we can get use of the OO7 bar for monthly meetings functions and partys.

Anyone interestedd contact me through my email address or through my website

Surprised that no-one has named both ladies, as scaramangasgoldengun mentioned, the one on the left is Caroline Munro, the one on the right is that Hai-Karate girl, Valerie Leon (Spy & NSNA)
