As I was checking my TiVo listing to record this show, I looked ahead to see when it will air again. So if you miss the Wednesday show it will air again at:

1/17/2008 at 1am
1/17/2008 at 8pm
1/18/2008 at 12am
1/19/2008 at 9pm
1/20/2008 at 1am
1/20/2008 at 11am

That's as far ahead as my TiVo will go. Hope you find a date to watch this on.

It was ok. They focused on three "myths"
1. Casino Royale - Bond shoots a propane tank and causes an explosion
2. Live And Let Die - powerful wristwatch magnet that can deflect bullets
3. Live And Let Die - Bond jumps a speedboat over a levee

Maybe the boat jump would work.

I think this was part one of two so there might be more interesting stuff to come but the reason I enjoy Bond isn't because everything can be explained (even our new more "realistic" Bond), quite the opposite.
But I like watching a P99 being fired!

they didn't air that ep. on wednesday (here at my school) like they were supposed to...I was reeaaally confused. But when I flipped on the TV YESTERDAY, they were halfway thru the bond show...I guess I'll watch it on one of the re-air dates...>.<

I was able to watch the almost the whole show. I guess my TiVo cut-off right before the Mythbusters gave their final answer to the boat jump. I to enjoyed watching the P99 fired over the :

13 magnets and seeing th bullet flipping in mid-air

this is when you wished you were back in the USA...darn, I can't believe i missed that. i am an avid mythbusters fan and of course a huge JB fan. a few months back i suggested a James Bond special edition episode on the mythbusters website, maybe it was me that they took the idea from??? eh? eh?

Looks like on January 26th at 7pm. At least that's what my TiVo shows. I'm in California, it may be different for others.

I just don't understand why the boat jump was on as a "myth" when it actually happened and they knew it.

Sucks I missed this! I've been waiting for Mythbusters to do an episode on Bond, but I forgot to watch. Looks like they tested mostly LALD myths and maybe one from CR. Just have to wait for the re-air!

i think this mythbusters stuff is a pile of steaming horse sh**

the one that really iritated me was the Live and let die boat jump they try to re create..

we all know they wrecked sevral boats filming the bond film ... and eventually they got the shot ...

so it did work we know that....

so what was the bloody point in doing that ....

to fill up some time..

the whole thing is just board waste of space proffesors and students.

I would preffer it if they aired endless episodes of the dukes of hazzard and thats saying something...

even that mind duming crap is better than the myth busters.

That was no Walther P99, that was a crappy S&W SW99, cosmetically quite similar but apart from that inferior in almost every way X-( Damn these stoopid TV shows and their mis-information.
