Beware the CR Swim Trunks! ;)

Hi all. Snagged a CR "copy" of the long sold out La Perla swim trunks from an Australian seller for a very reasonable sum. WOW! Lycra is...interesting to say the least. They fit well, but if you have ANY modesty issues, be ready to toss them in the dustbin as you Brits say...Not sure WHERE I will wear them, but I'm extremely grateful to have six months before swimsuit season. Back to running everyday I guess LOL

In my opinion, you should make clear in the header, that you are talking about the knockoffs, and not the real ones.

I would think both would be equally modesty-destroying. So, the warning holds true for both, though I did review the knockoff trunks.

If we're lucky, this is one prop replica we'll never see in use..;)

It's like with the knockoff Omegas: Only "slight differences", barely recongnizable.
Or should we better say, that the knockoffs are better in quality..

Well I bought the copy trunks, both pairs the famous blue and the black ones seen later in CR when 007 is on holiday with Vesper. I have to say I have never had such lovely trunks. Wore them on the beach in Canaries over Christmas and loved them. Showed my body off a treat - really did feel like Bond himself.

I picked up replicas of both swimsuits too. Will they ever see the light of day?? Well, lets just say it GREATLY depends on how many times I hit the gym, between now and beach season!

How much are the replica trunks?

I paid around $40 AUD, or $37 or so USD, via eBay. Since its a knockoff, PM me for any further details. Don't want to violate any board rules. The seller indicated a limited number of small are available (32 inch waist), as I was able to snag one even though it wasn't publicly available.
