Craig talks QOS

These bits have me about as psyched for a Bond film as could be:

When quizzed about the title "Quantum of Solace", Daniel Criag said "We could have gone for a snappier title but that's not part of the deal...It ties into the plot, it's not some random title".

Empire reports that he says it all connects to Bond's search for closure on his relationship with Vesper. The meaning of Quantum of Solace is 'a degree of comfort'. Craig described it as having an element of revenge.

Craig said that this film will be "more of a classical Bond movie. There's a touch of Ken Adam (the Bond production designer famed for giant villain lairs) and '60s spy movie".

He also added that Bond will be "misbehaving more this time" and that we won't see anything like the torture scene from Casino Royale, because "Bond's deaing it out more this time".

WOW. I love that hotel room set. Very modern, yet definitely reminiscent of moments from the Bond films of the 60s and 70s. Reminds me a bit of both Dr. No and his house in Live and Let Die. I won't be surprised if I end up liking this production designer even better than Peter Lamont.

I am. :D I think it is wonderful news that QOS (the first time I am using short-hand to refer to the new Bond film ;) ) will revert to the classical Bond films of the 60's. {[]
