I'm with you. It makes it much more of an experience seeing it for the first time up on the big screen. (Especially with better sound quality.)

I also like Will Smith alot. Ever since I saw Men in Black (IMO it featured among the funniest, if not the funniest, lines ever uttered by a talking dog in the history of cinema ) ), he has become an actor I can always rely upon for a good time. Additionally, of what I've seen of it, Hancock looks like it will be a good film.

Actually, it's worth noting that this discussion of Will Smith and his new film is in the QoS forum That said, I made no mention of 'anti-Craigsters'---or Craig himself!---in my post. Of course, if you care to draw such parallels on your own, I'll not stand in your way! :v

I don't think I know of any such specialists---but then I'd make a distinction between simply being hopeful about a film (and withholding judgment until it is viewed)...and actually conducting a positive review in advance. It's much, much (much) more common, especially here, to say something's going to suck months in advance...and it's usually a fairly safe bet, since most films tend to fall short in one way or another...and even if they don't, one can always assert that they did

In fact, if they can't even scrape together 9 seconds of extra shots, then they must be hard up for good footage. They must be awful embarrassed about this film. This does not bode well. I most likely will not see this film when it comes out because it's obviously going to be lousy.

I can't wait. It's all very well to speculate based on the cast and plot, but a teaser will finally give us alot more to discuss.
BTW, I've seen trailers for Hancock, and IMO it looks terrific, so I am becoming more excited about Hancock by the day. {[]

I've strangely not been that too excited for the QoS trailer. When I do indeed see it I expect to be questioning that logic.
I've found myself less excited in general for QoS than I was at this stage for CR. But that can only be a good thing - by the time CR was released I was almost tired of it. I expect this trailer will really get me going though, part of the initial excitement for CR was the 'thrill' of the unknown. I imagine seeing some genuine QoS footage, alongside an adrenaline infused rendition of the Bond theme, will leave me salivating once again!
I've not been around as much what with a new job, holidays, various home projects and renovations, so when I trawled the forum last night for the first real time in an age I was looking forward to catching up on everything and finding out what I'd missed... Turns out, that's nothing.
Initially, that left me a bit deflated and underwhelmed, until I realised that I know next to nothing about this film. This is the first Bond film since Tomorrow Never Dies where I'm approaching it from the angle of blissful ignorance, and I have to say that really does excite me. I can't wait for this trailer, it'll be that reinforcement of thought that a new Bond film is on the way and that can only be a good thing!
I wouldn't say CR excited me rather than scared me, as it was all too much of an unknown. But given that it blew me away, I'm more than happy to let this one roll in spoiler free.

This is the first Bond film in years that I know very little about. Since the internet I've known practically all about the films prior to release - even read the script to a couple of 'em beforehand This time, especially after CR, I'm happy to watch the trailer and then wait for the film.

Considering how much milage EON got out of Craig in the surf in CR, not surprised they're putting their best foot - er, chest - forward.
New version of the Bond theme, eh? Always up for a cool new take on that classic tune, lends itself well to updates IMO.
