OHMSS Site Tour

A few Bond pals and I are going over to London at the end of April to see the Ian Fleming Exhibition at the IWM. Also, we will be at the Aston Martin Works, College of Arms, Cars of the Stars Museum, etc. Does anybody know some other famous OHMSS or other Bond sites that we could take in? Portmeirion for The Prisoner may be on the list if we have time. Does anybody know where the house that became Quarterdeck was filmed? Also, the Universal Exports building?
Thanks, Hr. Gumbold.
ps Has anyone seen the centrefold to my magazine?

If you take the long way from Frisco to Europe, I strongly recommend to go to Piz Gloria.

In the area of Lauterbrunnen and up on the mountain, you can't get more OHMSS spirit.

I couldn't recommend a trip to Piz Gloria strongly enough!! I have been to Lauterbrunnen twice - it is truly one of the world's most beautiful locations, and the trip up to Piz Gloria is stunning. Also, it is fun to check out some of the OHMSS stuff up there - Blofeld's crest adorns one of the walls, and there is a short (about ten-minute) OHMSS show in a small theatre in the lower levels of Piz Gloria.

As for locations in the UK, I'm afraid I can't help you there.

The exterior of Quarterdeck was filmed at a house called " Thames Lawn " in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, Thams Lawn was demolished some years ago, I believe.:(
