WOW! Thanks David, I love that.

I already have some white jeans from GAP. Looks like I will have to lose sone weight again to squeeze into them for the summer. Any ideas on that black/navy top? Oh and don't even get me started on the sunglasses!!

I don't think he is wearing those glasses in the scene...that looks like his personal pair of Steve Mcqueen ones he sports around...probably put them on between takes to cut the glare a bit.

The jacket looks black but we have been thrown off by color so many times before I almost hesitate to guess.

By the shape and wrinkle pattern on the legs, I do not believe they are white jeans. Probably a white cotton blend. Comments?

If the past is any indication of the future then I would imagine these pants/jeans will most likely end up being some type of designer jeans (read $150.00 plus) or something exclusively made for the film. But wait!!! Could it be? Bond in a pair of $30.00 Levi jeans? What's next? Trading in the Omega for a Casio G-Shock!!! Lets hope not!!! {[]
Bond: "Who would spend $1 million to kill me?"
M: "Jealous husbands. Outraged chefs. Humiliated tailors. The list is endless!"

Levi's has their Capital E line, which is $150+.

I totally disagree. They clearly are white jeans!
I might suggest that it as a response to fans suggesting 007 should wear jeans. EON have decided to put him in WHITE jeans rather than denims!

I'm with cpoulos, they don't look like jeans to me, necessarily. The folds in the legs are too sharp to be jeans - the fabric has to be thinner.

They are definitely 5 pocket style. Whether they are made of denim is hard to tell. I'd wait on the colour too. They could be stone couloured, I've seen plenty 5 pocket style in stone twill.

Looks like an unbuttoned navy polo with black (or navy?) zip jacket and white jean-style pants. His lack of sunglasses in this shot with makeup might confirm suspicions that he was wearing his personal sunglasses (like in CR filming when he often was listening to his ipod between shots).

Oh my, could that be a black-faced Seamaster on his wrist?

Is that a Sunspel he's wearing? It sure looks like one. Perhaps those who own one can chime in...

If so, I'm liking the brand loyalty! Fleming would be proud! We know how James appreciates his signature items! ;)

So it’s a short-sleeved unbuttoned untucked navy blue pocket polo, white jean-style pants, brown belt, brown suede lace-up boots, black zip-up jacket, and the steel/black Omega?

wow, I thought the sunspel thing at first as well...though I can't tell if it is of the same pique style seen in CR

I'd be amazed if the pants were white, more likely off white, possibly stone. White just screams too much Bee Gees/Saturday Night Fever:)

You guys are ignoring the most important thing in the pic. Vintage late 80's Ford Bronco II. I wonder if he wins this classic in a card game.

Certainly looks like the short sleeved Sunspel so me. I've studied mine and the details all match up.

Can you guys who own a Sunspel let me know if you're happy with them? Are they really worth the price tag?

With so many navy polos out there that fit the bill (as far as I'm concerned) I'm still struggling with finally caving and just getting one!

Just go for it, you won't be disapointed. I'm very happy with it, I'd highly recommend it.

And his PO sure looks like a 42mm.

Isn't the protruding button hole eyelet different? My shirt is at home, so I can't check it.

I love my Sunspel shirt...the cut is very tailored and fitted. Really different texture to it as well...
  • avekevavekev UkPosts: 122MI6 Agent
Red Indian, trust me, bite the bullet and get one. As other members have said you won't be disappointed, the fit is wonderful and there is nothing else out there that can match the material texture.
Plus you will have the knowledge that you are wearing the genuine article.

Yeah, Sunspel products are well worth the monetary units {[]

And yes, it is the 42mm PO in those scenes.

It is hard to tell from the photos, but here is my rundown of what it looks like to me.

I think that the both the jacket and polo are in navy and midnight blues, respectively. I am betting on a polyester or poly blend for the jacket. The polo does not look like pique to me. It looks more like a interlock knit. Since I haven't the Sunspel polo to compare it to I am not entirely certain of their pique knit (unfortunately for me the Sunspel polo doesn't come in 2XL).

The pant's are 5-pocket jean style, however I think they are not actually denim I think they are twill, judging by the hem and puckering along the inseam. I have some 5-pocket style khakis that look just like these. I would also guess they are stone in colour, although white jeans are in style this season.

The shoes are chukkas that are in a chocolate brown which would also lead me to believe that the jacket and shirt are blue.

I washed the images through Photoshop to get the colour balances right. It is not a perfect science since I have no baseline but it does shed some additional light on what little we have.

The only questions I really have is for the Sunspel polo owners are:

    1) Does the shirt have conventional button holes or loop type? I thought the CR polo were conventional, but this **** in some shots look loop.

    2) Has the cotton of the pique of the Sunspel been Mercerized?

Oops, I accidentally left out the 'R' in shirt. The filter made it sound naughty. Sorry.
