For Your Eyes Only Soundtrack, missing tracks?

Hi. I purchased the FYEO soundtrack a couple years ago and noticed that a few tracks were not included in the soundtrack that can be heard in the movie itself.

Two of them I wish I could listen to are the instrumental FYEO cues that can be heard during the sleigh ride and at the balcony scene with Roger and Melina.

Are there any links that could provide me with those missing songs?

Thanks for any info!! I'd appreciate it!

Jeff

These tracks ("Sleigh Ride" and "Terrace Talk") have unfortunately not been released and are officially unavailable.

Btw, welcome to ajb, pianoman77. I take it from that name you're a fellow muso? Have a good time here, there's lots to see. Have you noticed the excellent Private Message function?

Thanks for the nice welcome! I have been playing piano for about five years, and just became familiar with this soundtrack a couple of years ago.

Do you think MGM or United Artists Music Co. Inc. will be publishing a new FYEO soundtrack with added tracks?

I also heard that there might be 40th Anniversary edition soundtracks coming out, but I'm not sure how true that is.

    Thanks again!

No, I don't think it likely that there'll be a new edition of that or any other Bond soundtrack in the near future. There are a few other threads in this forum covering that very topic- it seems there are the usual questions regarding money, rights, etc, plus some "missing tapes". Examples- Lukas Kendall, who handled the restoration for the 2003 re-releases, would have liked to do a double TB album (there are a few other cues such as "Fiona's Ford" plus the MKBB vocals) but the budget didn't allow it. The LTK rights are with a different label; the MR tapes are "missing" in, I think, France (Cat, Paris wasn't it?).

And the 40th Anniversary has come and gone- 50th, perhaps...

    Thanks for the info.

Something I did notice, however, is that for Casino Royale there is a double disk version with added tracks. It is also published by Sony BGM Entertainment.

Do you think Sony could create an expanded edition FYEO and/or other films?

The double CR release is unofficial, and the extra tracks are downloadable (plus the Cornell song in one of its many mixes). The tracks have been sequenced in their film order and the trailer music added at the end.

Sure, Sony could create an expanded FYEO or any other soundtrack if they desired. However, for the reasons listed above they probably won't do that anytime soon.

    Hi, Guys

I just added the updated "For Your Eyes Only" soundtrack to my Bond Soundtrack collection.

Me, being me, I have decided to play around with the tracks and edit the music (using itunes)to put the final results in the same order as they appear in the movie.

My question is; has anyone done this before? And if so, is there any info/help you can give me? (Just in case, this is for my own personal use and
I'm only doing it because I think it'll be a great way to spend an afternoon)

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

Wow, EXACTLY what I needed! Thank you!
I just knew I couldn't be the first person to come up with this idea.

I think I'll enjoy doing it even more now, seeing that some one else has already done the hard work!

By the way, is this YOUR website, Mr Cat? Congratulations, it's very nice and I know I'll be spending some time looking through it.
