According to IMDB Freida Pinto auditioned for the part of Camille in QoS. Pinto made her movie debut in the boxoffice hit "Slumdog millionaire" and is cast in the next Woddy Allen "untitled project".
She is from India, 25 years old and not so tall it would be a problem standing next to Craig.
empire magazine wrote "Prida Pinto is easily the most beautiful thing you'll see at the cinema this year." Empire is seldom wrong. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2951768/bio
I really believe Frida Pinto is high on the list of actresses the Bond producers want to cast in the future.
Also, after two Bond films focusing on central Europe with travels to Africa and both north and south America, Asia is long overdue in the next Bond film!
I think Zoe Saldana, Uhura in the new Star Trek movie would make a great Bond girl.
Hear hear! :x

She has some acting experiance, and burlesque is considered a cool and classy version of stripping.
She has become almost an icon among women, and men obviously like her!
I just saw "Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinksky" at the cinema, with Anna Mougalis and Mads Mikkelsen playing the leads.
In my opinion Anna Mougalis is just the type of actress who should be cast in a Bond film:
- She is beautiful (she is chosen by Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel for their new ad campaigns)
- She is a good actress (both the TV-movie "Les Amants du Flore" and the movie I saw were huge critical successes, the later was a Cannes festival winner)
- She is multilingual (Speaks italian, spanish, english and some greek in addition to her native french)
I would love to see Zoe Saldana as a future Bond Girl, but for now I guess I'll just have to suffice with her underwear scene from Star Trek. I'm so glad I saw that movie on the big screen.

I'm flabbergasted that in the course of nearly five years that this thread has existed, nobody has mentioned Dame Diana Rigg's daughter, Rachael Sterling! She's got her mother's looks, a great voice, and has proven both in film an television since the late 90s that she has the acting ability. Apparently she was considered for Vesper in CR, but ended up being passed over- it would definitely make Bond history, and being in her early 30s, would be an excellent choice for a more mature Bond Girl...

Not quite right. She was one of the actresses who was rumored to be up for the part of Vesper in CR, and at the time members posted pictures of her, discussed her suitability for the role, her looks, and so on. And, for once, I know my memory isn't playing me false!
given her recent exposure on Strictly Come Dancing, Ola Jordan wouldn't go a miss. Maybe she could whirl Daniel Craig around the dancefloor with a sexy salsa
And she won the 2009 competition tonight! not with DC obviously but a minor celebrity called Chris Hollins.
I don't think she'd make a great lead actress, I am not sure she can act, but she can certainly dance, has a great figure and a gorgeous smile. Very sexy accent too, babe...

After having seen Jennifer's Body recently I can confirm that Megan Fox is a piss-poor actress --all plastic facial expressions and completely flat delivery. You boys better pray she doesn't get more than a cameo in the next JB movie (assuming she gets cast, which I don't think EON is seriously considering anyway) bc. I doubt her looks will make up for having to sit through her attempts at "acting". MMV of course
Isla Fisher - Just saw Definitively, Maybe with my girlfriend last night... She's a fine actress if you look for a young looking Bond Girl (It's hard to believe she's like 33).
Sasha Grey - Some will call me crazy but a Pornstar turned into a Bond girl? Yes indeed, she already made the leap into Hollywood in The Girlfriend Experience.
Why do people stop suggesting new Bond-girls just because a Bond movie is being shot? Strange thing. I nominate Jessica Chastain. I have seen her in Tree of Life, The Debt and The Help. She is so different in those movies, I couldn`t place her when I saw The Help. It`s not so much about changing her looks, but mostly in the acting. She is a very talented actress, just see the list of awards ad prizes for her movies in her wikipedia entry! Let`s not forget her looks -she is a thirth year old blond with classic good looks, but her face still has a lot of character. The only problem might be that she seems to rise to stardom very quickly, perhaps too quickly for starring in a Bond movie.
^Talented and pretty, but she's in EVERYTHING! Well, she seemed to be last year. She is talented, but I don't get the edge of a Bond girl feeling from her.
I agree her rise to fame is problem, perhaps THE problem with Chastain. But she isn`t a major star yet and she is an acting cameleon. Also, she has never been in a big action movie. I also like to point out the fact that the central Bond girl hasn`t been blond since TLD.
In a book I`m reading now ("A turn in the South" by V.S. Naipaul) a woman named LeFever is mentioned. What a Bondian name! I want Laetitia Casta to play Aurore LeFever in a Bond Movie . )
I'm still a tad disappointed Freida Pinto wasn't tapped. Though she'd be conspicuously young next to 40+ DC. Too reminiscent of Pierce Brosnan and Denise Richards.

As Thunderpussy wrote, Zoe Saldana--and Taraji P. Henson is pretty hot, too.

I think the tacky writing and concept hammed it up )
