Ticket pocket - your thoughts?

Looking throughout the Bond films, the ticket pocket on the suits seems to fall in and out of favor. Connery's early pared down suits had none, while some of his suits in Goldfinger and DAF did. Lazenby's suits had a ticket pocket as well, and in Brosnan's first two outings ALL his suits have them (Hemming stated she wanted to give the garments a hand finished Savile Row look with details like a ticket pocket and properly finished cuff buttonholes), but ditched by the time of TWINE and DAD.

What are your thoughts? Is it just a recurring fad?

why wouldnt Bond want a ticket pocket? i always find them so useful

I like them, it used to be that only quality suits had them, but now it seems that alot of High St brands are putting them on.
