Sophie Harley - Stuff for blokes

For fans of Sophie Harleys loveknot, she is now producing the design in a series of items for men. The stick pin and cufflinks are really nice, and reasonable too. Apologies for the crappy pics, it's difficult taking pictures of oneself with a boxbrownie.

Hmmm another one, who killed the loupe off from the Submariner. Me too, though, SeaDweller :))
Or is it one of the highly accurate fakes from Italy? ;%

Jeez that tie looks awfully familiar. Is that a Charles Tyrwhitt woven tie? I have one just like it.

Dunhill tie, Rolex real, bloody cheek. I hated the cyclops so Rolex lopped it off for me.

Have you seen the new Deep Sea Sea-Dweller?

nope, could not make it to Sam, errr, Basel. Does the DSSD look any like the uber-ugly new Yacht-Master?

Actually, yes it is a CR tie, got one just like it from Dunhill too.

Looks better without the cyclops anyway...

Oooooh, I'm getting good at this photo lark.

Pity you could'nt make it Markus, Omega were pretty disapointing, apart from one fit girl, who has a charming and magnificent boyfriend. She was briefed to look out for you too.

Love the Sophie stick pin but when I went to order one they wanted to charge me $50 to ship it...bleh.

Wonder where they are located in London?

Hello ASP9mm, checked the webpage. I am not really impressed with the DSSD, it looks like an affair from the Subby with a Corum Bubble. I always liked, that the Sub and SD have not followed the trend to 40 an more mms and being bulky like a sea container. It seems, that a lot changes there, unfortunately.

I say this, of course, until they become the official supplier of 007 and we see the DSSD on DCs wrist {[]

Mantis, Sophie hasn't got a shop as such but her design studio is just five minutes from Portobello Road in West London. You can visit there to pick up your pin, or why not have it sent to someone you'll be seeing next week. I might do the same with your cufflinks.

Hate to interrupt yours and Bond toys love-in, but that's a CR tie? Pray, where in the movie? And why have we not heard of therefore?

Damned, for a non-native speaker it is really hard to follow here sometimes.

Anyone with an idea, where I may able to research terms like "boxbrownie" or "dinkle" (which I have recently learned)

A dinkle is like a shmeckle, only much smaller...you are on your own as far as the boxbrownie...;)

Thanks, Mantis. you are a big help. :# As it would be easier to find a proper explanation for shmeckle....

But I have already found out on the dinkle and still am working on the boxbrownie. :p

You guys are having fun to play a little bit in your language with an unwissenden Ausländer :D

Never...we'd never use jargon and "in-jokes" to make other feel unwelcome.... B-)

I fear you're confusing us with another site.. :v

Now the BoxBrownie was Kodak's little masterpiece...it became the Ford Model T of cameras ( ah ..more jargon...ok, Ford make motor cars and the Model T was the first mass produced version the World had seen.. ;) )
These websites should help...there's even a pic of a Model D, and a Box Model 2 on the next site....

Oh and you can see more pics by Asp9mm.. :))

    Hello ke02eww,

    thanks, this helped a lot.
About the boxbrownie, I have been on a totally wrong track. I assumed, that it was something like a brunette and referring to ASP9mm's GF, who is truely deplorable.

But you have showed, that there are nice people on your island :D, who are helping instead of constantly jumping on nice board members :#

About the Ford T, even, that we are still riding on horses and living in tents, we have heard about this ;)

I can't wait for your webpage refs on the shmeckle though :D

Asp- I, unlike Bondtoys, LOVE that Deepsea Sea-Dweller (although the name is quite repetitive). Is it significantly more expensive than a regular Sea-Dweller?
