Who is he to tell someone they can't buy something? He did not make the fabric. What is the big deal if he tells someone where to buy the fabric? Isn't the purpose of this board to help out Bond fans and collectors? If he didn't want any competition, he should have just bought enough fabric for himself to make his own shirt and then everyone else can do what they want instead of hording it like a greedy kid on the playground. I am not saying to change the price. He wont even say where he got the fabric or offer to sell a couple yards. Thats beyond absurd to me. Again, when you take on a project, there will always be competition or people trying to one up you, so he shouldnt have taken this on if he didnt want to deal with this. So given that I cant afford the shirt and accept that, I am also prevented from buying 2 measly yards to have a shirt made by a tailor of my choice for myself because someone is completely paranoid and wants to change the rules of business.

The original suppliers will also not print anymore and have asked for non-disclosure. The purpose of these boards is indeed to help others, which is why that person has spent £5000 plus on us and has only asked for costs to be recovered and will still make a considerable loss to please us. 'Hoarding it like a greedy kid' is such an insult, why don't you offer him £5000 for the lot and please everyone all of the time, by offering every option at every price.

But we are talking about this on the wrong thread, so enough now. Nothing has changed and we have gone severely off topic.

I must disagree with you about it being one mans fabric. Shouldn't anyone be able to buy it? Is he sole owner of the all that particular fabric in the world?

Actually, yes he is. I hope that may explain things a little more.

Ha now that is a completely ridiculous statement. That is what he wants you to believe. Kittlemeier has found some of that fabric walking into a store and I am sure there is more in some fabric stores in England or wherever it comes from. Kittle even found the website, so I am sure other people have purchased it off there. What happened to all the fabric that was on the roll from the one Kittle bought his off? He only bought 3 yards, so where did the rest of it go??? Did the fabric monster eat it? He even said himself that anyone could have walked into the store and bought it, so dont give me bull**** statements like that, please.

Saying that one person has all of that particular fabric in the world is so utterly insane. I have to leave now if people are going to make ridiculous statements like that. The fact that you would honestly say that surprises me.

Sorry that the facts offend you. Kittle will agree with me on this. If you refuse to believe it, then there's nothing more I can say. But please refrain form the melodramatic prose.

You are so so wrong - please do your homework and reread everything ok.
Kittle by chance stumble on to a website that has only 3 m left, and he bought that remain 3 meters, paying hundreds for it - there are no other available sources known then and Kittle stated that. Please before typing anything - checks the facts. One more thing, its ok not to have everything - learn to let go and appreciate those you can. I don't have an Aston Martin or wear an Omega and that's ok with me. Let it go.

How about getting back on topic? I'm glad we were able to learn who made the sunglasses and where to get them... but damn...$500 is a lot of money for sunglasses! Would I want a pair? YES. Would I mock or be envious or deny someone who buys a pair? NO. Is a thread about sunglasses the right place to argue economic politics? I think Dem, Reps, Whigs, Socialists, Commies, Anarchrists can all agree $500 is a lot of money for sunglasses. It doesn't matter if you can afford them or not.

Remember if you want the screen accurate ones, they are the polarised versions, which, unfotunately are the more expensive 8-)

This is a quote from Kittle in the shirt thread:

"My three meters were purchased from a fabric store in England, just like thousands of meters of the same fabric were prior to this venture. Hemming herself could have bought it from there, who knows? I don't understand how Eon, who has nothing to do with the fabric other than using it for this shirt, can say what can be done with it."

I would also like to hear from him that he paid hundreds of dollars for the fabric.

Nope. From what I know, the phototropic ones are the ones, that are more expensive.

And just one remark: I have learned, that these Airman sunglasses have been retailing US$ 400-450 before they went out of production, so, I can't see too much money for the limited editions.

The photochromatic ones are less in the UK, it's the polarised that are more. Is this different overseas? Or are you wrong yet again :D I do hope so as I love it when that happens :))

True, but, I remember last year when they were easily attained at $100. I always liked them, but I was buying too many sunglasses, so I passed on them. Personally, I'm a little disappointed that Bond is dressing like Brad Pitt now. Costume design looks lacking in QOS (a nylon jacket in the desert?). But, his clothes are still, of course, of high quality. Just not quite as British as I wished.

Lol, and a unisex model of sunglasses, to boot.

According to Cat from Adam Simmonds yes.
She's certain about the polarized ones, if he also wears the one with the photochromic lenses, she does not know.
