Bond Travel must haves

I wanted to start a chat topic that I hope you all may find interesting.

If you were taking a trip, either for business or pleasure, what do you think is a must have to travel with?

I will start this by suggesting the following:

1. Omega Seamaster
2. CR leather jacket
3. Sony Laptop
4. Sony 800i or 790a cell phone

Feel free to add anything you want.

I'm actually travelling to London for a Bond Sites tour, so here's my list:
    1. Grey straw hat ala Connery in Goldfinger
    2. Slazenger burgundy golf sweater over grey polo
    3. Gold bar to pose with, and a Penfold harts ball.
    4. Grey suit w/ white shirt ala Lazenby in the Big Ben 8x10 pose, complete w/ plastic PPK
    5. ECCO shoes- really comfy for travel, and Bondlike
    6. Assortment of Slazenger polo shirts, and slacks
    7. Thong undies- Gotta feel sexy in case we meet some hot Pakki girls!
    8. James Bond's London book...and 8x10 reference dvd pulls of OHMSS and Goldfinger
    8. Nave peacoat and black fedora to look like Lazenby walking up to the College of Arms
    9. Little travel gnome my cute niece gave me!
    10. Rick Steves' guidebooks and day pack
    11. Aston Martin umbrella
    12. Condoms just in case...
    13. Lube just in case she's older...
    14. Workout gear. Hey, I'm from California, that's all we do..
    15. RAF bomber jacket. Goes well at the IWM!
    16. Cigarette holder and cig to look like Fleming- good for a photo op at the IWM
    17. LOTSA money, because the $ buys very little.
    18. Ditto to the rest of you chaps on the watches.
    19. and, when entering ANY hotel, one must utter the most famous of lines from that infamous French detective: "Do you have a reeum?"

Call me crazy, but I bought an expensive one and a bought an inexpensive one (GAP) and the inexpensive one is the one I reach for. It seems fitted better, falls just under the belt line versus the slouchy, long sweater look, and is lite enough to wear in weather under 60 degrees!
  • The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
The sweater I like is on sale for only $19.00!!!!!

I agree with Mantis, it is a sweet fitting sweater. And for $19.99, hard to pass up.

    Just bought it! ;)

And I liked that they had 'tall' sizes, with longer sleeves. Can't beat picking up a sweater in May for $19. Nice catch Mantis!

    Mantis,

Do you mean the Ted Baker pants?

    Thanks,

Again, I'm sure these are purely Dave's personal preference.

After all, Dave spent much time validating Simon's declaration that Bakers made the Bahamas and Miami pants (and from which a good few sales - and profits - originated)...
  • The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
Huh??? The Baker pants is what I am talking about and the color they used in the movie is called MINK.

personal preference? As if I had thoughts of my own...really!
