A question of quality: baron boutique.

I've been eying the CR blue three-piece on their website. The prototype seems to be a near flawless replica of the original, I love the high shoulders. Has anyone purchased a suit from Baron Boutique? If so, how was the quality?

I have the suit by BB and can't say enough about it. I have worn it numerous times at work and always get many compliments about it. In fact, several people have asked me where I bought it. The wool/cashmere fabric is high quality as is the construction. The fit is absolutely perfect. I have two other suits made by BB and like them, but this one is my favorite by far. Go ahead and order it-it's a bargain.

Not every tailor will hand stitch you a garment...especially with the cost efficiency of Baron.

I've been eye-balling the 'Bahamas Arrival' suit for ages, but I've had mixed feelings about it. Maybe the photos don't really do it justice, but I wasn't exactly blown away by it. The suit looks way too light, and the buttons look dark. Not to mention the fit on the model isn't exactly flattering (but I guess that's debatable). And the shirt looks terrible.

I wonder if the BB suit, matched with the Magnoli shirt would be a good combination.

Thanks for the information. My only gripe is the inability to choose a different color. I have an affinity for blue pinstripe and, as a result, I have five. I can tell the difference in the fabric, the spacing of the stripe, the tone and shade of the color, the shape of the shoulders, and the placement and number of buttons. But, someone asked me why don't I buy another suit and it dawned on me that everyone thinks I'm wearing the same suit three or four times a week. I may get the DAD suit instead...but I do love a good three-piece. Hmmm.

Maybe the grey Goldfinger suit by Magnoli would be a good alternative.

Don't waste your money on the Bahamas arrival suit. The fit is great but the color is off. It's more blue than gray and you end up looking like Don Johnson instead of Daniel Craig. The shirt is awful. Everything else I've purchased from Baron has been great, but don't go near this one unless you want to be disapointed.

I wonder how hard it would be to get Magnoli to take a swing at it??
