Hi there, who was the singer in the filet of soul?,singing a soul version of the theme.
I think it only goes for about 20 seconds or so ,would love to hear the whole song,any info??

    The singer is B. J. Arnaud, and you can hear a longer version of her song on the CD / soundtrack album.

    Actually her name is B.J. Arnau. The 'B' is for Brenda, btw.

    :)) Maybe her agent should have mentioned using her initials wasn't the best idea in this case.

    Actually the version on the CD is exactly as long as it is in the movie, but it seems more because in the picture the vocals were toned down for the dialogue scenes. However, there is a rare German single of the song with the full version of the tune. It also complicates matter that the music used in the Fillet of Soul Bar in New York is the instrumental intermission of the song, which is NOT present on the single, cause that uses vocals over said portion. Confusing enough?
