Kleynen, I sincerely hope, that you did not slaughter a working Hasselblad for this? Asp9mm would do as he only values Boxbrownies :p

I did actually make a rough replica of the blinking lights LED cigarette packet detonator from LTK.

I have heard a few people asking about Bond gunmetal cigarette case... is it not possible to obtain an old one through ebay ? has anyone came close to finding a replica...

also the cigarete case that you are talking about I take it this is the one which fleming talks about in the novels...

or the film used ones... I know of a cigarette case in DR. NO .. and in YOLT when it contains the cigarette rocket gadget... also in OHMSS you see Bond take a cigarette from it while ... driving the Aston Martin DBS .. at the very begining of the film... can't think if its ever featured in any of the films again.. ?

well to be honest to make the perfect weapons tray from the DBS for you and me and for anyone who would want a replica.. I would need the exact demensions of there pictol and silencer which they are displaying attached to the gun.. the silencers vary in size...

I will aks for this closer to the time of making a replica also

THE PANZAR GUN from Die another day do you mean a miniture model..?

from what I know of a Panzar gun is that its a tank

Don't forget the cigarette case featured in
FRWL eg the agent recognition sequences at the train, also featured briefly in the PTS of GOLDFINGER

I believe that in addition to the films mentioned, the same cigarette case was used in MR and tricked out as an x-ray machine.
I have heard a few people asking about Bond gunmetal cigarette case... is it not possible to obtain an old one through ebay ? has anyone came close to finding a replica...

I did get a sterling silver case from eBay a few years ago that's about 7 inches long. However, it has a machined diamond texture unlike the smooth surface of the movie case. Also, I had a jeweler attempt darkening it but only managed a gray tint. Donald Grant on this board similarly got a case from eBay but was better at getting it oxidized to a nice black, like the one in the film. These cases btw, in the very minimum shaped like the one in the movies, are not that easy to find.
also the cigarete case that you are talking about I take it this is the one which fleming talks about in the novels...

Now that's a different story and replicating a case to the novels' specs IMO is a lot more difficult than making one from the films, and the difficulty is if such a case exists, since it could have easily been another one of Fleming's use of artistic license in inacurately depicting that's supposed to be factual. The clincher is that I have not seen any vintage cases that could fit 50 cigarettes, even for the smaller size specimens of that era. The closest thing would be the "flat fifties" cigarette tins such as those for Players Navy Cut ciggies, but the annomaly is that Bond's cigarette case together with a book, was stout enough to stop a small caliber bullet (Red Grant fight in FRWL) and I don't think tin could do that. Per the books, the case would need to be:

    thin
    flat
    wide
    battered
    gunmetal
    can fit 50 cigarettes
    more dense than tin

Maybe modeling one after a Player's Flat Fifties tin, but in brass, with some sort of arm or garter inside like a conventional cig case. If you'd like to look into this further, I would be interested.

ok yes I could make the tank buster gun I can make anything within reason.... LOL

I would want to get the weapons trays from the DBS vacume formed to a mould.. so that it is screen accurate... I will not be making these until many other props have been made... so I am sorry but I will make them within the next year... I know that sounds a long way away ,.. But time flyes..

The Tanks buster gun looks very similar to another similar kind of gun from an action film
Like a kind of star wars sort of film... bosiblt battlestar gelactica or something like that .. It just reminds me of a weapon from something like that ....

Is the tank buster a real gun or a modified existing replica etc ... this is comon with the Bond props and guns....
