Hey, I've been reading these boards since Casino Royale came out, thought I'd finally post something.
I believe I've purchased the actual Alfani shirt (black label, made in Vietnam, 100& poly, etc). Though whether I got a shirt that is slightly different, doesn't really bother me I suppose.
What exactly are the alterations I need to hire someone to do? I'm assume the shirt was slimmed down a bit, as it's pretty baggy on me.
By the way.. I did sent a ebay link and asked if it was the right one.. Not the one in the start but somone on another post. So i buyed it and this time it was infact the right one the other one that i first brouth i have now given to a begger out on the street i hope it will keep him worm. :=)
So. now i got the vitenam one. Thanks to Somone who sent me a private meassge :=)
Please keep us posted. I have worn short-sleeve button-up shirts that were sueded from Alfani before. They all looked pretty cheap. I had a gray one which actually could pass for decent-pretty nice, depending on what I wore with it.
I bought this one when I was in Macys. Its at my tailors getting the bottom straightened and the slits put on each side. Its close enough for my taste.
An old, but still relevant, thread as it helped me to pick up this little beauty -
All the specs mentioned in Saint-Antoine's post on the first page match up to the description and pics of this shirt. I should have it in the next day or two, so I'll be able to confirm once it arrives. The best part is that it is brand new with the tags still attached. I'll post better pics once it arrives.
Funny enough, i originally bought this exact shirt back in 2006 thinking it was a "close enough" for the ocean club shirt, only until years later did i realize through you guys that it was actually the exact screen worn shirt i had all along. )
Just dug my old one out and it does not appear to be SA as cannot find "hidden" buttons.
Can anybody elaborate on these "hidden buttons" are they under each collar point or something???
Mines 100% Poly and suede like with silk lining but made in Taiwan lol. Mines more grey then black so might hunt down a Large - appears many black ones have been and gone on eBay but midnight blue a hell of a lot rarer!!

It doesn't look right to me, that one seems to have a 'cord' type of stripe to the material.
Seller listed it as suede so im guessing its very close?
