There is a new poster available on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Quantum-of-solace-Bond-22-V2-Quad-Poster-40-x-30_W0QQitemZ120279588659QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120279588659&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Do fans think this is original or just a mock up made from images from the end of the trailer?
Either way, I think this will form the basis for the official poster in the autumn. Opinions please? ;%

Reports from other boards are that this poster is in theatres in the UK. Real.

This looks pretty good to me. I likey, likey a lot!

Even if it's fan made, I would consider getting it, as it's the best I've seen so far, but I'm betting that's is the real deal ;)

I think I like it. It's a very sparse poster, which is not such a bad thing considering so many posters these days are incredibly cluttered. However I hope that it is not the final poster, as my favourite posters feature words (e.g. 'You know the name, you know the number.') ;)
"He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back—that’s an earthquake. and then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman

    OOPS!
I should have read the thread before I just accused the seller of a mock up!

I understand that for a poster, you have to see the main actor's eyes.

But I prefer the cool look from DC wearing the OP sunglasses from the trailer much over the image without the sunglasses.

As a collector of Bond posters, I do not like it. There is simple and plain. I would call this plain. Hopefully, the "now playing" poster is more interesting.

Reminds me too much of the end of CR rather than the start of an exciting new adventure to get hyped up about. Given some of the scenes in the trailer I'm disappointed they couldn't come up with something better.

I like it more than the teaser, but it isn't my favorite IMO. I will probably pick it up though, it's still a cool poster.

That one is clearly a fake, not even a very good one. I think the first one is just a blown up screen cap from the trailer, but i still like it.

Nice concept, but I still think the face looks kinda super-imposed.

And as for the watch... :o

If this poster is real, then why has it not been posted on the official EON www.007.com website?

Love it though, and (of course) it is my new desktop!!

Nice ! It's Bond holding a big gun in a bad mood...beware Mr. Greene B-)

If it turns out to be real, it'll end up on my wall, framed and all.
  • StrangewaysStrangeways London, UKPosts: 1,469MI6 Agent
I agree, framed and looking great well before the movie is released. I guess it's time for the CR poster to come down then?

    8-)

Well, I'm certainly not taking my CR poster down, the QoS one is going right along side :p
(plus it's the last thing I see at night, and the first thing I see in the morning :x )

Lexi, your love affair for DC amazes me. What devotion!

:# a bit sad maybe, but I've had a crush on him for many years. :D
Only 3 more days and I'm off to see Hancock (mainly to watch the QoS trailer on a big screen!)

Don't like it, far too plain, I prefer the artwork posters from movies like Live and Let Die, Diamonds Are Forever, etc. Nothing about the poster says Bond to me.

What, not even the 007 logo that runs through QOS ? :))

It's got James Bond on it; what more do you need? He's got a suit and a gun and everything :)

I don't remember the teaser posters for LALD and DAF, either: what artwork did they have on them?
Personally I think the Goldfinger poster was probably the best Bond poster so far.

I totally agree. Bring back the art of the 60's and 70's posters.

Unfortunately, nobody really does illustrated poster art of that calibre anymore. The industry has moved on---and not to its benefit... :#
