I stopped by Saks yesterday and picked up the Red DAD Brioni tie for $69 bucks! So I highly recommend you all check your local Saks stores clearence tie selection. It made an otherwise terrible day amazing!

Great find! I was wondering what the contrasting color to the red is? (in the stripes) Is it a darker red?

Bondtoys I'll keep you in mind and ill let you know the next time i go to T&A. Urhash they do seem to be part of there regular line because they also had blue, black, and white i think. The tie is a red herringbone with black lines. I can send someone the pictures of my ties if they will post them since the PS3 dont work like that. Can someone pm me there email?

While on the subject of ties, does anyone disagree with the notion put forth in one of the "Spy who came out of the Closet" articles that Brosnan-Bond ties now look dated and had 'loud geometrics'?

I thought Hemming (generally) made a very good selection with the ties and were both tasteful but mostly conservative. Even the ones with geometrics (ge tank tie, tnd hamburg tie) still look good today, imo. Perhaps the 'loudest' tie is arguably the boat chase tie in TWINE, but that was a smart move as it spent 90% of its time soaked and muted by river water.
