The link I sent are the correct ones BUT the fun in the hun is finding the ones with the blue button, not the copper one...some sites have them and some don't...I believe Tobi has the blue buttoned ones.

The blue buttoned ones are indeed a right sod to find.

Copper buttons and studs - no problem, you can get 'em anywhere.

Speaking from a UK point of view all the UK dealers I've been to - Harrods, John Lewis etc etc have NEARLY the right ones, but not quite.

Apart from one shop that had ONE pair but not in my size :( grrrrrrrrrrr

    Mantis,

I think these are the correct ones:

    http://www.7forallmankind.com/Bootcut_in_Mercer/pd/np/9/p/1464.html

They have the blue button and match the sku slice_of_quantum_08 mentioned. What do you think?

Thanks Mantis. Tobi only has one size left, unfortunately not mine. But, Barney's appears to have the correct ones, at least judging by the hardware in the pictures. Here's the link if anyone is interested:

    Fingers crossed on this one!

    Simon,
I know your pain. I ordered a pair from Barney's, hoping they would have blue buttons, but no luck. There's a 7 for all mankind store opening soon near me I'll have to try. I noticed the Light Mercer jeans have blue buttons if anyone wants to be close. The color is the same, but they weigh about a quarter less than the regular Standards. If you find any regular Standards with blue buttons in a 30, let me know.

I'm looking for bootcut or standard in Mercer. Does anyone have links for a supplier in the UK, or that ships to UK?
    cheers

OK folks...below is exactly what you should be looking for. This was on my pair that HAS the illusive blue button:

    Style: T519C080U
    Color: MEC
    Cut: 716715
    Lot Ref#: 716715
    Size: (whatever you need)

Can you tell me if that cut runs small, or is it true to size? In other words, I wear a size 33 normally, did you have to go up a size? Should I order my normal size? Thanks!

Great question! I wear a size 33-34 and found my 34s to be a little too big in the waist...not a lot but a little.

Thanks! I'm glad I asked The question, I was about to order the size above.

I have one more question for you please. Do these jeans have the two belt loops in the rear or are they the single loop in the rear.
Thanks so much for answering my questions.
  • sruzgarsruzgar Welcome to ScotlandPosts: 1,468MI6 Agent

I was sure they are 7 For All Mankind until I read the interview with DC on last GQ issue. He was wearing TF shawl collar cardigan but surprise the Jeans were Dunhill and it was written in clear letters. So I went to check their web-page and their jeans are very similar to those that DC wears in the movie. Apparently nobody considered the JB is English and the production seats in England too. Here are too many wild guesses on American brands that here in Europe we even do not know that they exist.
Looking better at photos in some scenes he wears the 7 but I am not sure about the Levi's 501.
