but in the second set of pics where he is in front of the rover.. the stitching appears to be grey like in the 7 "Austyn" style .... what do you guys think ?
I ordered 2 pairs of the standard in mercer. On the 7 for all mankind website they appear to have tan stitching except for around and on the back pockets. When I receive them I will take a photo of them and post it.
I just received mine in the mail and they are the correct ones with the top blue button, blue rivets, and two belt loops in the center back. It looks like they only have three sizes left though.

Yeah it is! Unfortunetley it was custom for the movie, they had a smilar one in store in black with leather trimmings.

Maybe the wardrobe department just didn't have a dark brown belt to hand? I must admit I always wear a brown belt with brown shoes/boots and black with black.
The belt also looked a little too narrow for jeans - more like a trouser belt for a suit - but I guess that's personal choice anyway.
The Standard Straight jeans on the 7 website don't have the double loops at the back, or the Blue button/rivets like the Standard Straights in the link above.
I just received my pair of 7s today, but I must admit I much prefer my Levis. If anyone's interested in buying them from me I'd be prepared to sell them. I'm based in the UK.
They are a 31" waist, they are also a stretchy denim so they would fit a 32" as well. They have the Blue button as well. These jeans are brand new.

Why does that seem to be the case for so much of DC's Bond wardrobe...
I think it's because some of the items are made for the film but never availabe as SA like the QOS Tom Ford Harrington, Tom Ford Solden Jacket and the Barbour To Ki To field coat. Some items can take years to either locate or have remade and the longer that takes the harder its going to be able to find them at a "reasonable" price. I have noticed that when some items are re-released they are not as good as the original items used which is a shame
