And Lady Rose and Lexi, I'll borrow some of your height, please! I'm only 5'2!!! And my shoe size is 7 and it's always sold out when I'm shoe shopping, so us short girls have problems too!!! :))

That makes you about a UK 5 or 6 which are probably our most popular sizes here ... so you'd be ok in the UK

In the US I'm generally a 10 and to be fair, I never have a problem getting shoes when I'm there ... Very partial to DSW ...

Maybe we should shoe shop in each others countires !!! :p

    No, please.... let's not!

And I'm not sure that having a bigger helmet than her male conterpart, is a good thing, unless you're partial to that kind of thing.......... :))

Ladies, what are your views on green and purple going together? :D

As I know you are not being serious, I'll ignore that however I must admitt to reviewing my dislike of black/brown combo's as I nearly bought a black/brown dress the other day ;% However, I will quantify that by saying it very much depends on the shade of brown and only a tan sort of brown works ... Pierce's rather ugly dark brown would never work under any circumstances ....

However, I might have been too quick to dismiss.... I mean Daphne was rather stylish...and she worked that scarf perfectly ;) :))

Yeah but she spent most of her time chasing bed sheets with a talking great dane, and everyone knew Fred was playing stink finger with it n all. The other one was obviously more interested in chewing carpet than anything else.

Fred was interested in the dog? Don't you mean shaggy???? :)) (I mean the name gave it away) everyone knew that Daphne and Fred were getting up to no good under the sheets ;)

And Vera... well, no surprises there! :D

Plus scoob and shaggy took it in turns with her. And here's me thinking redheads had the most fun.

Never mind such antics Ms Monique,

may i ask u who you consider to be your style or fashion icons?

As far as icons, I love the 60's sex kitten look and appeal of some of our Bond girls, namely Ursula Andress and Claudine Auger. Daniela Bianchi was incredibly sexy too.

Fashion icon of all time, probably Audrey Hepburn, the epitome of style, class and grace. And speaking of grace, Grace Kelly would also be on that list.

I'm kind of all over the place with what I like, I grew up on the beach as a little girl idolizing Farrah Fawcett and collecting all the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues with Christie Brinkley and Kathy Ireland, all through grade school, high school and college, so I've always looked up to those blonde cover girls. Even though I'm a brunette, I've been a beach girl most of my life, and as much as I love my stilettos and designer handbags as an adult, I'd much prefer running on the sand barefoot and body surfing any day! :))

Some of the icons of today leave me a little cold, I'm sorry but I can't stand the look of Gaga. I don't get it....I like feminine, not weirdness just for the sake of shock value. There are some very pretty actresses, but the models are so different now to the ones when I was a kid. It seems if you are 8 feet tall, 90 lbs soaking wet and unusual looking, you are a shoe in for success!

And Lady Rose and Lexi, I'll borrow some of your height, please! I'm only 5'2!!! And my shoe size is 7 and it's always sold out when I'm shoe shopping, so us short girls have problems too!!! :))

    Ms Monique...
5'2, brunette, curvy, loves being in a beach bikini or sex kitten body suit...hmmm starting to get a very fun picture! :))

speaking of sex kitten looks...if you havent already looked at it, i would recommend a book by the creator of the look itself, Ms. Vicky Tiel, titled Its All About the Dress.
Its a great read, autobiography mixed with Parisian (very interesting) cultural insight and even some recipies if you like to cook. A very funny and attractive woman Ms Tiel...

btw, there is very funny anecdote with Ms Tiel and a friend who show up for a meeting with Cubby Broccoli thinking they were intervewing for the Bond girls, (in fact they were there to design the outfits for Thunderball) but Cubby is getting a massage and asks them to strip and prance around to see if they are 'Bond girl material'. very funny i thought...

Audrey Hepburn, very elegant and sexy...i too laugh at the Gaga look, of course those styles crash and burn...anybody cares what she's wearing anymore?

Kathy Ireland...i remember when my mother caught me in my room with a magazine fold out of Kathy and Cindy in white g strings...it was never the same after that :))

OMG Priceless! :)) :)) :)) It totally looks like Daniel Craig's body in that Range Rover :)) :))

There's nothing wrong with the shoes in this photo. Shades of blue or grey paired with brown is a very classic mix. He's wearing jeans and loafers, fine. What I don't like is the pattern of those shoes BUT in terms of colours going together, nothing wrong there. His wife could definitely use some help picking even shopping bags. I can't think she can't afford more decent ones :)) :))

Brossa's back slim and slick - good on him.

And I think you'll find those are the same loafers no one liked with the black jeans and leather jacket...

Must be a favourite pair ...

Oh my goodness Brozzer is getting on!
I thought that was a younger Jack Nicholson, must have been the smile and glasses combo.
I agree with the colour combination being nice, but I too qm not a fan of the loafers. They seem a little odd looking..
And I too agree, that that bag is quite horrid. Pierce go buy her a new bag!

I wasn't actually complaining about the colour combo this time ... just the shoes in general. They are the same horrible ones he wore with the black outfit but they just aren't very nice and the def need a polish .....

Brozzer is indeed getting on but I think he is ageing rather well. Not being too far behind him in years I will have to pray to look half as good when I am 58. :D I think all the Bond actors have aged well except George Lazenby. Saw some images of him recently and was quite shocked, he does not look good.

That I agree with, I don't like the pattern and they DO need a polish! Guess wifey doesn't take care of hubby's stuff? :)) Worst thing is that shopping bag though... seriously, I'm quite sure she can afford WAY better shopping bags, including designer ones :))

Regardless, I think Pierce is aging beautifully. He is one VERY handsome man, to the day.

He looks about nine or ten years younger!
I can't get over that bag though, my gosh! :#

I'd agree with you Moore Than, they all have aged well, except Laz.
Who do you think looks the youngest for their age, you can say for a particular year if you'd like. I thought that Moore looked young for his age in 1973.

For me, Roger Moore looks his youngest and best as James Bond in The Man With The Golden Gun even though it was the year after Live and Let Die. As for who looks the youngest in a particular film I would say Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye (1995). He looks almost too young to play Bond yet he was 42.

Yeah, he looked like he hadn't aged during that year, and I don't think he looked like he'd aged much by TSWLM either. And that's a pretty good point too, I think maybe the hair takes years off; so fellas don't be cutting your hair too short by age 42, if it hasn't already fallen out by then.. :))
I guess haircuts are one thing you CAN take out of Brozzer's books, just don't stray too close to his books on selecting nice loafers.. :))

Actually those are beautiful loafers....Probably Tods... They just need a clean.... :s

And they don't go well with black outfits....

They're probably brozzers fav shoes and he wears them to death... I hv an old pair of deckshoes that are irreplaceable - fit like gloves and treat my feet like geishas...

But I've worn them to death.... I still wear them to go the gym etc...

It's not as though he' s on his uppers....

I agree, they need a clean!
By the way, by nice I meant clean, and polished! Sorry, I should've been more specific! That's what we say for clean and polished where I go to school! :))

Ahah, and true that they aren't working as well with his outfit, but hey, we all have off days! :))

I have a pair of shoes, not loafers however, that I wear to death, my Doc Martens!
I'm surprised they aren't in need of a polish and clean! :))

And I like that line, treat my feet like geishas. Will be using that one when I can! :)
