What's everyone's three favourite film series? Not single films, but film series.
Mine are:
1 James Bond
2 Indiana Jones
3 Star Wars
For me, these are the definitive three, and all of them keep me higly entertained, in many ways.
Bond has some of the best villains and action sequences ever. Indiana Jones also has great action and wonderful acting, and Star Wars has one of the most intriguing stories ever, also with wonderful villains and action sequences. (Although The Phantom Menace was by far the weakest IMO).

James Bond - the oldest and the best, although truthfully, my interest has subsided recently.
Pirates of the Carribean - Can't help it, these movies really entertain me, hoping for a fourth in the series.
Terminator - Love these movies, can watch them again and again.
Honorable mention to Batman, would have been in top 3, but I think a couple of them are bad. However the last two have been tremendous. Also have really enjoyed the National Treasure movies, but 2 movies doesn't qualify as a series. Bourne is very good too.
Batman
Other than the god-awful Batman & Robin, I've been able to derive some level of enjoyment from every other entry in the series and they're never far away from my DVD player. The Dark Knight's meteoric box office has really opened the franchise up to a wider audience and pretty much guaranteed at least one more movie.
Indiana Jones
Pound for pound some of the greatest action ever put to film; even Crystal Skull was a lot of fun for me.
The Man With No Name
Sergio Leone's "Dollar" trilogy (A Fistful Of Dollars / For A Few Dollars More / The Good, The Bad And The Ugly) is for my money the best Western series ever put to film. Great action, sprawling vistas, ludicrous dubbing. I never tire of those movies.
Honorable mentions:
Star Wars
Unlike a lot of people, I enjoyed the prequels and when viewed back to back the six films make for a pretty compelling story.
Star Trek
Very much a hit or miss series - and the movies with the Next Generation cast uniformly suck - but I really enjoy most of the movies with the original cast and I have my fingers crossed that JJ Abrams' forthcoming prequel movie will reignite the franchise.
Mad Max
George Miller's post-apoaclyptic movies made for some great entertainment. Now, if he'd only get off his butt, phone Mel Gibson, and get to work on Fury Road already.
James Bond
Gotten a lot of mileage from them over the years but, like Barry, my interest has also diminished recently and I don't care for the direction the series is taking right now. I never thought I'd hear myself saying this, but I'd really like to see a different creative team take a stab at a Bond movie.
The Alien and Predator films were fun but Alien 3 left a really bad taste in my mouth and AvP: Requiem pretty much killed both franchises.
Terminator is a fun series and I'll be curious to see what McG and Christian Bale do with their take on the material.
And hopefully this summer's Iron Man was the first of many entries in a new series.
James Bond
Planet of the Apes
Underworld
Honorable mentions:
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Tolkien series
First 10 of Star Trek
Alien/Prometheus
James Bond
Indian Jones (First three only)
Star Wars (original Trilogy Only)
Honourable Mentions:
Bourne
Rocky / Rambo (cmon these were great when a kid) )
Alien (Alien is Superb / Aliens different but great, prob fails due to Alien 3 and AVP spin offs)
Terminator (again kinda get worse as they progress)
LOTR - must admit I find it hard to watch nowadays
Indiana Jones
Back to the Future
Forgot about Back to the Future!! Great memories when I was younger!
I always thoughts Star Wars and Terminator are overrated.
Indy. ( agree only the first three )
Die Hard.
James Bond
Dirty Harry .... first three only
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo .... Swedish Trilogy
2. Dirty Harry (Love all of them esp Dead Pool, Sudden Impact and Magnum Force. The first one is actually my least favorite)
3. The Man With No Name trilogy. (Does a trilogy count as a series?)
Honorable Mentions: Terminator & Die Hard (1 & 3 only)
Technically not a series: John Ford's Calvary Trilogy with John Wayne: Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon & Rio Grande.
1. GE 2. MR 3. OP 4. TMWTGG 5. TSWLM 6. TND 7. TWINE 8.DN 9. GF 10. AVTAK
1. James Bond :007)
2. Pirates of the Caribbean (Aaa, but you have heard of me)
3. The Universal Studios monsters of the 30s and 40s (grew up with the likes of Frankenstein, the Wolf Man and Dracula, yes bit of a dysfunctional family I know ) but I still love those movies and ave them all on DVD)

Die Hard

Indiana Jones
Shaft (Shaft, Shaft's Big Score and Shaft in Africa)
Iron man
Toy story
Just did....great movies! Check out the pixar story on Sky...really interesting and makes you wonder just the scope and effort that goes into that type of film.
