Quantum of Solace Display

I need everyone's help/opinion here...as I have a four day weekend and I have gathered enough pieces to justify one, I will be building my Quantum of Solace display. But I am torn as to what type of enviornment to create for the display. Casino Royale was easy- poker of course but QoS is not so cut and dry... Below are some of my ideas and I would like people's opinions on which one to go with.

1) White rocky environment..this would be a display where the base and top are white rocks reminiscent of the poster and trailer look.
2) Modern display top with clean lines and glass, more of a modern museum quality look.
3) The Eye Stage- would take some work and creativity but something that is themed off the moving opera stage hilited in the film.
4) Panama Look- vintage looking crates with Panama stickers etc, and 'local' flavor accents

    Dave,

I think, at this juncture, the most iconic thing about QOS is the Daniel Craig cast shadow or silouete of him with the Heckler and Koch UMP9. Both teaser A and Teaser B one sheet posters feature this. It's now also on the new QOS game. I'm sure you could work it into a display. Anyway, it's an idea.

I know it is so tempting to build a display Mantis .. and I know I will not be able to talk you out of it.... :))

but my best advice , would be to wait until you see the film..

I say this because once seeing the film ... you will get a far better feel for the story etc and mood of the film...

But for now I would say ... build something which can be easily modified or updated or changed etc....

So I would go for the Museum look with Glass.... shelving and a modern look...

which props have you got so far ffrom QoS ?

good Luck .. and enjoy your Bond display building ... over the weekend..

I like your third idea, The Eye Stage, but it also sounds like the most work. I sure what ever you do will be impressive. I look forward to seeing some pictures when your done.

I think the grey rocky thing would be good.

I totally agree. The bleakness of the desert type feel will make your pieces really stand out. Plus as someone else mentioned it's been a running theme througout the posters.

I have to agree with DG, Dave.

I can only assume you have some of the clothing (inc. the Airmans), so I'd stick with that for now. Plus the poster is a damn fine image B-)

    Just re-organized some Mummy things...:p

BTW, now would be a good time to tell local folks that I plan on having a FALL Bond gathering...so perhaps we should start discussing some good dates.
