    Glossary updated to include AC and Bondtoys sarcastic. (Unless you actually meant 'Bondtots,' Barbel?) Thanks for keeping this thread alive! Sorry about my absence, ladies and gents...I'm determined to be more present as #24 unfolds. Cheers!

    ...glad I didn't take this over... always knew Loeff's would be back, eventually ;)

    I have visited this Glossary from time to time without giving it much thought......until now.

    For consideration.

    DUD - Unflattering opinion of DAD (Die Another Day)
    Terminal Velocity - Refers to any sped up scene/sequence
    Bonded - Reference/term of endearment for Sean Connery's toupee/s.

    SP- SPECTRE as in Bond 24, rather than the organisation itself. Unless voted off by "S" (which I think could be ambigious).

    I haven't been through all the glossary but ( if allowed) could we have
    Some suggestions for names ( hopefully Bond related) for when someone
    Is being a total dick, to other members ?
    Something to give a heads up to an unsuspecting member who might join a
    Thread, thinking it was a normal AJB discussion.

    In the 1 ½ years pre-SPECTRE announcement phase - they've been probably the most discussed item on AJB.

    So it's time to give them an own abbreviation - this may save a lot of bandwidth:

    Its a good idea Pussy, I came up with the following. I hope I haven;t overcomplicated the pot. Or plot as the case may be. -

    For Mods only to use:

    DCIU!! (Don't c*ck it up 007!) = General warning for questionable / bad behaviour.
    LCOD!! (Loose Cannon On Deck!) = The final warning before banning for someone pushing too far.
    YGTS!! (You Are Going To Shrublands!) = That's it gone to far, getting banned.

    (I debated Falklands from DAD, but Shrublands has the tone of SCRUBlands, - ie getting bumped off the forum.

    For everyone if they spot trouble / someone being horrible:

    BBB (A Blofeld Bell End) = Someone who is outrageously out of line, mirroring some of Spectre's inept / disrespectful lower numbers. I am thinking TB and YOLT as inspiration for this. (Behaviours would be Trolling, flaming, harassment, etc.)

    Qo-Scrtm = Someone being smutty / filthy beyond even our acceptable limits. Rare, but can happen!

    Glossary updated to include the terms SP (for Bond #24, SPECTRE) and 'Premature Condemnation.' It's been a while, so if someone feels strongly about something that's been suggested but not added, just let me know. In the meantime, I'll review and consider some of the above suggestions :007)

    I have started saying this one a lot recently!

    T-HE. - The House Of Eon. Collective term referring to the company, all eras, all staff from Dr No to today. Usually when comparing how Bond is made to other franchises, reboots, or comparatively cheap knock off productions. :p

    Inspired by "The House That Jack Built."

    Could we have some suggestions for a name for the state of
    High excitement/ euphoria / anticipation, that you get waiting
    on a new Bond, when the release date gets so close ? :)

    I was thinking of " Coolidge " as she sang " All time high" from OP ?
    I.E. " I'm about to go full Coolidge !" :)) but any suggestions gratefully
    accepted. :)

    Could I offer 'Bond-ennui' that specific sense of disappointment that follows 'Bondo-phoria ' when a new Bond movie is released and you realise that you over valued it but can longer sustain the illusion.

    BG = Bond Girl
    BV = Bond Villain
    BVL = Bond Villain's Lair

    Loeffelholz, would you consider adding "The Other Place" to your glossary?

    This is used to refer to MI6 Community (and I think they use it to refer to us, too). A member just asked about it.

    Has "Craigxit" been added to the glossary? A soft or hard Craigxit are of course variations.

    Brofeld; and my own contribution (which I hope catches on): 'Nofeld' - referring to his DAF look-alikes.
    Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.
