I'll be picking up my own signed copy when he comes to my town in November! {[]

If anyone is planning to attend the book-signing in New Jersey, drop me a line!

There was an article yesterday on mi6.co.uk which confirmed that there was to be a limited edition run of 1000 (each one numbered) signed by Sir Roger and that they would be £35.

I would be very surprised if play.com was knocking them out for £14.99.

I will contact Andy at Bondstars and ask him directly what's what.

That may be a good idea - perhaps Andy will post his answer here too ?

    Hiya

Well I can only give you the same answer that I gave Disco. Bondstars have nothing to do with the signings or appearances.

The signed version on Play.com is not the limited slip case version as these are only available via Waterstones \ Hatchards. I would suggest contacting play.com directly as I do not see how they can sell the signed version of the same price as the unsigned version.

You've now seen Andy's reply - I've always had difficulty making contact with play.com but I think it's unlikely that it will be signed by Sir Roger.

I'm gonna get a Waterstone's limited edition one in the slipcase, and as I'm attending the London Theatre evening, hopefully I can get one dedicated for me and another for my brother-in-law for Crimbo!

I see someone is already advertising the slipcase version signed on ebay for £75.

A few users on MI6 forums are worrying about this aswell, 1 guy said he has brought numerous signed books of there and they are authentic execpt 1 which was a print - But that is Harry Hill.

The limited edition is one edition BUT Moore is doing book signing all over the place. I imagine he signed a bunch for Play.com. It will be the regular book with his signature in it.

Here is what I am doing....just contact a book store where he is doing a signing and ask them to reserve a signed copy for you. I don't live close to any of the places he is going in the US so one of the stores will get him to sign a copy for me. Even in person, it is unlikely he will personalize the book...They may even have the book signed ahead of time to avoid long lines.

I hope it is a authentic signed one, Not just a print.

    Good stuff bondaholic!

Can I ask, how much did you pay for your signed edition?

Must have taken Rog ages to sign all these copies!

    Looks like a great book.
You know in America it’s “bling, bling”, but out here it’s “bling, bang”.
