Say-me your size S, M, L or XL and I'll verify the availability of this product.
The Manthis's Cardigan is the last Cardigan in Zara where I bought it.
    I don't know if it's available now.

Well I wear a sunspel large and it fits snug (I suppose thats a good thing) so I am guessing that I would be looking at a large.

Of course if you cant, I suppose I can run over to Kohls here in the US and go for a similar looking Cardigan.

I'm all about the style, authenticity is a plus, but not a must!

That being said I went ahead and ordered a second sunspel in black!

All, just to let you know that the buttons from John Lewis are perfect, so Mr Ford can go raffle himself!!

So is the color Navy Blue or Black. 2 postings on James Bond Lifestyle are conflicting.

Duncan's The Wardrobe of Quantum of Solace article states " ... Tom Ford shawl collared cardigan in navy blue." while in the clothing section it states "Although Tom Ford is still very secretive about the items that will be used in the movie, at least one item is confirmed: a black Cardigan, as seen in the latest trailer. This cardigan is now available in the exclusive Tom Ford retailers. "

I have always believed it was Navy while others believe it is Black. I believe that Duncan's article on QoS clothing is accurate.

    Any ideas?

I bought the marks and spencer's one and I am very happy with the look of it. I don't think I'm going to change the butons either.

I had posted this on the QoS budget thread, but it is better suited here.

i saw a cardigan at jcrew the other day. Very close alternative. A bit more bulky than the TF one, and unfortuantly it doesn't come in black. I then found a linen-cotton one that they used to make which was perfect! However, once again unfortunatly it was out of production and the lady I emailed did not plan on returning it into production. I'll try and find some pictures, perhaps with some backing we could get jcrew to find some extras or make some more? H

It would also be helpful for those who can get the Zara or M&S alternative.

here's the black linen-cotton jcrew cardigan
    http://www.jcrew.com/browse/single_product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524...

if anyone could try and get in touch with jcrew that would be terrific

Also does anyone have the link to the John Lewis buttons?

Yeah, they do online. It's in the "autograph" range.

I went to the Zara in Atlanta, at Lenox Square, the other day and found the cardigan. They are sized VERY small so even the XL/42 was too small for me. They had (I believe) one each M, L, and XL if anyone wants to go by and get one.

Thank you my friend! Using this I was able to go to Zara tonight and already have my cardigan. What a great forum this is!

I think the Zara cardigan is a closer match to the Tom Ford cardigan, as the cloth features a more destinctive ribbed weave.

The M&S one however seems to be closer to the one worn at the end of CR, when Bond speaks to M on his cell, before closing Vespers clutch bag etc. This one seems to have less of ribbing to the material as per the M&S cardigan.

No problem my good man. Now all you have to do is find some black buttons!

I would avoid the j-crew version. I was at the outlet store and saw it. The collar is rounded and somewhat feminine looking in my opinion.
