I phone called Tom Ford's brand store in Milano and they confirmed the availability of the genuine JB cardigan. Unfortunately it costs "only" € 1050. Thus I asked them when are gonna have the season sale.
However if somebody want a good alternative you can try here.

Does anyone have the style number or model of the Zara cardigan?

Found the label. The only numbers on it apart from the price is:

    ART: 0842/300/800

    Hope that helps.

Thank you my friend! Using this I was able to go to Zara tonight and already have my cardigan. What a great forum this is!

Is there still many in stock? Everytime i try to get something from Zara they always sell out. :(

Did no one pay US money for the damn Zara cardigan? I've been asking home much it costs in $US and no one can seem to answer this simple f-ing question. How much is it in ANY money and i'll do the conversion.

I've been able to reserve one in Zara at Windsor, for pick up tomorrow.

Now the guy said that they have a few different styles, but i said that the shawl collar cardigan was thin material, black and single breasted. The price has come to £35.

Can someone who has bought one in Zara please tell me if that is the right price for the "bond style" shawl cardigan?

Zara Cardy is great but the buttons are horrible, swap them for this style, as per the TF, here is a link for the guys in the US

Thanks Mantis - I knew I could count on a fellow Pennsylvanian!

Now, the question is how can I obtain a Zara?

Newsman, I had to rely on an international friendly soul to pick one up...perhaps you can plea for the same? B-)

Got my shawl cardigan from Zara today... its a lovely fit.

Yes you have to change the buttons but still its very nice.

Couple of things... it costs £29.99 in the UK and an average UK large (42") is an XL in Zara. Tried on a large in Zara (40") and found it way too snugg. The XL is still a slim fit but you can move more freely (for those who wear large).

Another thing... they have a few in stock in various sizes at the Windsor store in Zara, where I bought mine - in black, for anyone who can not find one.

    Hope that helps.

Can anyone pick a Zara up for me (black) in S?

I live in Knoxville, TN, US, so getting one is awfully hard.

Send me a PM or preferably an email at ashwinsuresh1@me.com and tell me how much you want if you can do this.

    Thanks.

Does anyone know if any of the US Zara stores carry the cardigan. Also, wondering if anyone has any pics of the jcrew outlet version.

    thanks

Hi chaps. found another good alternative the other day on Marks & Spencer website. Probably more CR than QoS but good value at £35. Have ordered in so will let you all know how it is.

I looked at this today in my local M&S - I quite like it - I may end up getting one. But might have to wait for Christmas though. :#

BTW... M&S are having a 20% discount on all their clothes this Thursday only. Doesn't say anything on their website at the moment but I am currently working on their account and an e-mail just said that this will not be made public till tomorrow...

... so for anyone who wants the M&S Shawl collar cardigan, you will get 20% OFF THIS THURSDAY ONLY, either in-store or on-line.

So for those that have been following this, which one will be better, the Zara one at £29.99 or the M&S one (when discounted) at £28.

I understand the buttons are not right on the Zara one hence extra cost of a couple of pounds - whears the M&S is good to go ...?

I still think the Zara one is more accurate to the one in QoS (buttons aside)

I second that. New buttons cost peanuts and you get an overal better cardi with the Zara one.

Hi...This is my first post. I picked up my cardigan at Zara in the South Coast Plaza Costa Mesa. $59.00. The largest size it comes in is XL. They run a little small. The buttons are ugly..... but I can fix that. Zara has 2 L and 1 XL left in stock. Unfortunately I cannot purchase anymore and Zara does not ship. Good luck. Chris

do you happen to know if they transfer to other stores, perhaps the one in illinois. I'll have to give them a call thanks for the notice.

i personally own the one from Kohls. nice fit, good quality, and perhaps the best trait of all is that its acrylic and it washes really well without any frills or lint balls.

only downside is that it isnt totally screen accurate, but it still fits the bill quite nice.

despite from the kohl's one being a cable-knit how does it compare to the Tom Ford one?
