This has been annoying me for a while now........

In TND after Bond leaves Gupta's office and then Wai Lin opens the door (only to have Bond point a gun at her), he slams the door as the guards chase after him and leaves up through the stair hatch.

After he enters the other part of the building where he sees Wai Lin absailing down the wall, he says something like "sh*t" and then runs off.

Did he actually say "sh*t", it's been annoying me!

I just put in my DVD and Bond doesn't say anything. Of course, I have the US version which is probably different from your version.

P.S. I even put my DVD player on subtitle mode.

Well on subtitle mode it doesn't say things like that accept from when carver says would you please kill those ********

Strange!

When he says "sh*t", it sounds like he whispers it..............it's not very obvious at first but you can hear him sort of whisper like.

There's another aspect to that scene... when Brosnan is first scouting around in the lab, a snatch of music sounds the same as when he's scouting around the storage room in the pts of GoldenEye, looking into the canteen.

It's strange how s*** is considered swearing in english. I have heared sunday school teachers and politicians from the Peoples Christian Party say "skitt/sh**", and no-one blinked.

I'm thrilled that I'm not the only one interestet in something so irrelevant, 8420!
The point would be: were people shocked when your teacher implied illegetimate parenthood.
A part of me will be disapointed if you answer that question ...
