Who's got glasses in the fridge and what are you mixing? -{

I'm going to have a "Vesper" or 2. The sad thing is that the local government alcohol monopoly stores no longer have Lillet Blanc on the selection, so when I run it'll be just regular Vermouth.

    well a friend of mine is getting married tomorrow, so I'm going over to her house with a bottle of pink fizz....which will probably lead into more wine....and more....and more....:))

    Well, you do know how that's gonna end, don't you?

    I remember when I got married, we toured the town with my bestman 'till about 0600 the previous night. The whole procedure in the church went by with me thinking if it would be rude to take a sip from the fountain they use in baptism (they have in this particular church a really cool small fountain next to the altar) :))

    I've been partial to rose (rosay) esp as it's the last bit of summer this week (it's HOT in London today). That said, when I buy a bottle I do tend to finish it and end up nodding off in front of a DVD. :#

    I've got some milk in the fridge. I might have a cup of tea later. Or maybe not. I haven't quite decided yet.

    I'm hoping there will be either a nice cold Mike's Hard Lemonade or a Guinness waiting for me at home...it's been a long week. At school, I've got some sort of yogurt drink...

    Must be nice to have two days off in a row. Friday for me means, getting home at 10:45pm from work, maybe having a beer (Heineken) then go to bed. Wake up Saturday, eat lunch, then go back to work. I must admit, I rarely do get a Saturday off from work, but the last Saturday I had off (not counting my vacation) was about 2 years ago. Ya'll have fun partying on Friday night, and have a few for me! Oh, and I rarely get two days off in a row also. One day here, one day there X-(

    My Other Half spent years working weekends, with one day off in the week. When he was made redundant and started a 'menial' factory job, he discovered the joy of weekends off. It would take a considerable amount of money to make him give them up again!

    Anyway, I shall sit here and enjoy browsing the forums with a glass of Jack Daniels and Coke. {[]

    Yeah, it was 2001: A Space Odyssey though.

    Rose is now so over, but I recommend the white wine Montana Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough, very good these days and only £6 from Tesco.

    Mind you, that's juice from the local backwoods for you, isn't it Same? {[]

    I'm just looking forward to sleep. I train on a thursday till around 10:30pm and then drive home covered in bruises and sore, so by the time I've had a shower and food its around midnight then the alarm goes off at 5:15!. So most fridays pass as a blur but I might be able to sneak a quick one in at some point tonight.
