Creme Colored Levis- Confirmed style

Creme Colored Sta-Prest Levis Jeans.

Good news: This has been confirmed by both physical in hand evidence as well two sources that work for the production. They are a slim cut jean and match all the markings we see etc...
Bad news: Levis will not being making these again AND they were available only in certain parts of Europe when they were available. Simon Ruzgar has found a small cache of these jeans so if you email him at iateababy.com he can check on your size and availbility etc...last check there were only a handful of pairs left.

So just to confirm, the info we received from the young lady at Levis was only half correct. They WERE Levis just not the style they reported.

In the next few weeks there will be some major announcements of the brands and styles of clothes used in QoS from others so stay tuned!

The wardrobe in QOS just does not get me excited enough :( Bond fashion and wardrobe has always been something to aspire to and a step into the future, QOS clothing is something that I've been wearing for a while now, albeit Hugo Boss rather than TF and Levis and there is nothing different enough for me to sit up and take note. That's not a critisicm of the QOS clothing, just nothing new for me to buy as I have something similar already.

I take on board ASP9mm points and would add "fear" as in....

Fear that you ID the ties, jeans, etc and we find that they were deleted from Ford's/Levis range last year...

Fear that okay, the suits are Tom Ford and perhaps the shoes Lobbs again but HOW MANY CAN AFFORD THEM?

So if you take it that some items might not be available, and others might just be too pricey, just go for as accurate, though different branded, copies you can see in the photos and trailers?

Add to that that - let's be honest - not everyone looks great wearing clothes just because Daniel Craig does?

Just a few random thoughts, though, and I'll take on board all the references when they come...:p

I give credit to Hemming for really nailing the formal style of Bond in the 90's, which still looks impeccable and elegant by today's standards (especially against the recent trend of too tight suits with thin lapels and skinny black ties). I think Hemming found a balance in the look that will be relatively timeless.

I hear ya'...all this is just food for thought/purchase.

I think most of us will find the Tom Ford pricing to be a bit terrifying which should push people to finding alternatives...

Style Nirvana perhaps. As Coco Chanel quoted, fashion goes out of style, but style never goes out of fashion.

As luck would have it, about a month ago I found a pair of cream colored Levi's on ebay that had the tan colored stitching that was featured in the close up photo that someone here provided...I can't remember where it was posted. Anyway with my body type I can't really wear slim fit jeans. My waist floats between 33 and 34 but I have thighs like a speed skater so the jeans I picked up were the 550 which is a relaxed fit. I have to say that I am quite happy with them. I've worn them with a navy polo and my Allen Edmond's chucka boots and I think they look pretty close to what will be seen in the movie. I know many will want to get the exact item that is in the movie but not all of us will look good in the slim fit jeans (myself included). I would suggest patrolling ebay for a style that compliments your body type and not get hung up on getting the exact model...especially now that it appears that they will be hard to come by...just my $0.02.

While the exact style/model currently remains a closely held secret, here is a pair of 501's in white that is available and a good price.

How is it a closely guarded secret?...gave you the color (creme), the brand (Levis), the type (Staprest) and since they don't make a variety of these your targets are pretty good. Also they only sold them in UK and Belgium.

How Much? Do you have a size 33?
  • sruzgarsruzgar Welcome to ScotlandPosts: 1,468MI6 Agent
They are $160 shipped in the USA. They run about 2" to big in the waist, I dont carry stock I get them as needed, however I can only get 30x32, 32x32, 34,32 and 36x34

They run 2" too big? So, a size 32 would actually be a size 34?
